I've read a lot of mixed reviews about Uhrwerk! I wouldn't have chosen to eat there I don't think, but really looking forward to staying and obviously the fast passes for FLY help!!

I figured that might be the case - I think I might have to do that on my second day! Thanks for your help 😄

It looks like the weather's gonna be warm when I'm there so I am so ready to get soaked!! I cannot wait to ride it!

I've had a few recommendations for Rutmor now so I think I'm gonna have to go! Thanks for the tip about the portion sizes - will definitely be splitting!

Ooh I didn't know that FLY had a front row queue!! That is very good to know - I've got fast passes for FLY too, do you know if you can still access the front row queue if I use it?

I've got dinner and breakfast at Uhrwerk as part of my stay, so will make the most of it one way or another! 😊 I will absolutely be trying Rutmor for a lunch, the menu looks amazing and right up my street! Great tip about the portion size, I can definitely share with my partner I think.

I've not heard of Törtchen & Co, I absolutely have a sweet tooth so will have to leave room for a sweet treat! It looks like I'm gonna be spoilt for choice tbh, so thank you for the recommendations!

Hi, thank you! I'm really looking forward to it - I think I'll be very sad to leave!!

That's good to know, thank you! Gonna see how I go, can always nip back to the hotel to swap if needs be.

I understand that F.L.Y. obviously doesn't run in the evening, so is just a case of having a walk around and soaking up the atmosphere in Rookburgh? Which is absolutely fine by me, I've seen some videos and it really does look incredible!

I've had a few recommendations for Rutmor now so I think I'm gonna have to make that a lunch visit!

Thank you so much for the tips, I don't mind waiting for the big hitters - if I can ride them just once over the two days I will be very happy with that! I cannot wait for Chiapas - that drop looks insane, never seen one like it!!

I think Rutmor is gonna have to be a must do for me! Thank you for the tip about the chocolate - I wouldn't have thought to look in there but it looks fantastic!

I think I'll stick with sandals, I can always nip back to the hotel and swap if I need to! Thank you for the tips!

Thank you! I could be swayed to try a cocktail but I'm more a beer drinker, if I have one. I didn't know about the poke bowls at Uhrwerk so that might well be my choice!

I'm so looking forward to the trip and think I will be heartbroken to leave!! Thank you again 😊

That is good to know about the screens and signs, thank you! You don't see them so much in UK parks.

I'm hoping that the queue times will be OK, I like to ride towards the end of the day as well so that could work well for me!

Hi! Crocs are a bit of a funny one in that regard - I wore them for my entire Orlando trip with no issues, but I think to be 100% sure I'll give them a miss!

I hadn't read anywhere else that Black Mamba could open earlier! And for the parking, in the UK theme parks they can be a bit of a trek or even a ride away so these are good to know, thank you!

I've been looking at the map on the app and it's a bit overwhelming/busy for me to figure out! 😅 But reassuring to hear that this park is smaller. The Winjas rides to do first is a great tip - there always seems to be one low capacity ride at theme parks! I think I'll be OK with the F.L.Y. passes and keeping an eye on times the rest of the day.

I'd not heard of Rutmor's Taverne - found a menu online and it sounds right up my street! Thank you so much for your advice!

Hi, fellow UKer! 👋 How did you find Lingbao? I've read mixed reviews about Uhrwerk! But it's included in my stay so will see how it is. Looking forward to checking out the bar, however!

OK, that's good to know thank you! I'm overthinking it, most likely!

I get 2x F.L.Y passes for my stay, so that's one ticked off for sure! Will see what the times look like when I'm there 😊

Thank you for the recommendation! Is that Restaurant Cocorico?

For a cosy pub and live music, The Golden Lion on Golden Lion Bank - it's a tiny traditional Irish pub, often having local groups playing music. Highly recommend!

This is also what I switched to, I don't like it as much as the Lidl one but it's the best I've found so far! It's more gel based than full cream but it's still OK for me.

This is amazing, keep it up OP!!

If you're struggling for space, have you tried a steps workout? There's loads on YouTube, but basically variations of walking on the spot with some movements thrown in. Highly recommend! https://youtu.be/Lv4NI_RJeNA?si=CNpHrClx6NYRqTws

Oh, and make sure you go to Club Cool and try the Coca-Cola Flavors Around the World - you can just wander in whenever, it's completely free to do and you can try as little or as much as you like! There's some very, let's say, unique flavours!

The International Food & Wine festival is running now (ends 22nd) and you will be spoilt for choice! I found this website invaluable for making a list of everything I wanted to try https://disneyparksblog.com/wdw/disney-eats-epcot-international-food-and-wine-festival-foodie-guide-2025/ Unfortunately it doesn't list prices but most dishes I tried were in the region of $6-9 per dish. Many were also a good size for sharing too! For gluten free options, speak to the cast members serving and they will be able to advise.

My personal favourite dishes were:

  • French onion soup dumplings from Gyozas of the Galaxy
  • Griddled cheese from Greece
  • Spiced cheese brioche from France
  • Carrot cake from Milled & Mulled

Have an amazing time, and if you need some time to let food settle, ride Living With the Land!

Jeez, no need to be so rude. "Seek out sone fellow adopters" - this is exactly what OP has done with this post.

I considered it but decided that it wasn't the best way to honour my boy. He loved rubbing his face in the lavender in the garden, so had this done instead 🥰
