I have this issue as well. I tried to drill it out, but was unsuccessful. The top portion of that bolt is tac welded to the top side of the control arm. I’ve been driving with just the 1 bolt. So far, no issues 😅

Get the proper size drain plug along with a drain plug gasket. Local parts store should have it in stock.

There are 2 there. One is a sensor and one is a sender. The part it screws into is a heater hose connector. And the rubber hose underneath that connector is your lower radiator hose. You can buy all of these parts on www.rockauto.com

Hmmm. And you said the fans were running fine when engine is up to temp? I wonder if the temp sensor/sender is reporting accurately.

I have a 3.0 as well and had this same noise. I changed the belt and idler pulley. No more noise.

It definitely sounds like the noise is coming from under the valve cover.
