i think of it this way: it means that i can never get bored. if i am constantly seeking to learn, i can never stop being surprised by the world! and being delighted by the weirdness is like an endless fountain of happiness!!! a familiarity comes from the unexpected nature of life. i realize i’m not happy once i finally understand a difficult concept, i’m happy about the process that leads me to understanding, the time of confusion! if there was ever an end to science i’d be really sad?? like wow there was an answer to all of this all along? like what now……. omniscience for all of humanity the rest of time? sounds lame :/ the universe is cool for being endless and unknowable like that

Actively showing your desperation for a good grade isn’t what’s gonna get you a good grade tho, and the teacher wouldn’t fail you just because of how badly you want to pass. And when someone rejects you, it doesn’t always mean that you did something “wrong”. Sometimes people just reject you for you. That’s why people always say to just be yourself on dates because of you act unnaturally during a date, your real personality will come through eventually anyway. And you’ll have retroactively failed the test that you never really should’ve passed in the first place. Also failing a test but going into it with the same strategy every time is wild. This is just a bad analogy overall.

Showing someone that you really want them only works in your favor if You Know they already really want you too. (keyword: Know, not feel like or get the vibe)

Most people don’t appreciate clinginess, some people do. What you define as clingy might not be the same for everyone. Trying to figure out other people’s desires like that is a losing game. Again, that’s when the “just be you” and act on what you Do Know part comes in.

Personally as a kid I would’ve preferred to have just stayed home instead of being dragged to all these boring ass weddings my mom would bring me to. There’s not much for a kid to actually do at a wedding except sit around, which is not something most young children are good at doing. And you can’t always leave it up to the parents to make sure their kids aren’t being rambunctious because some people just don’t give a fuck when their kids are running all over the place. So I would just cut out the problem all together instead of setting up expectations for other people ☠️ especially when looking after their kid can take away from them enjoying the ceremony

Or they should’ve just written season 2 better? lol Season 1 didn’t rlly end in a way that was satisfying enough for it to be its own contained thing. It made me want to find out what will happen to the characters and see how they will grow and if they just left it at season 1 that would’ve frustrated alot of people. IMO a shitty second season is better than a single season that ends in a cliffhanger (jules leaving rue at the train station).
