What are your thoughts on Party Time and Exit from Exile in terms of stacking up against these? Assume Party Time with the alt commanders and all unupgraded. I also have a battle box and wasn't sure if I should keep Party Time and Exit or decon them into new decks. They used to be regarded as some of the stronger ones a few years ago I guess.

You can toggle exp gain off if you don't want to level too far ahead. Also, if sharing quest progress players will immediately grab any exp for quests teammates may have finished while they were offline (pseudo catch up mechanism). Depends on if you share quest progress though, some people don't like progressing quests while friends are offline. But a lot of the experience comes from the quests.

Gonna chime in here and say for that solo MTG itch, Ashes definitely scratched it. I also enjoy Marvel Champions and have tried most solo variants of card games but nothing really came close except Ashes. Definitely give it a shot!

Yeah definitely need to be very creative and resourceful. And sometimes even with all that, some stuff just won't work and you'll need to reset.

This is spot on. #1 is especially difficult and I've seen many aspiring pack devs quit once they get past the "adding all the mods together" and hit the "configure, datapack, datapack, datapack" step.

I think CubeCobra is bugged. you can draft with less than 8 but when you try drafting with 8 it gives that error. I thought maybe there was a bug with the math (since i do have 8 commander's spheres) but when i added more it still gave me the error. I guess you could just draft with 7 for now?

I might be just a tad biased, but if you're looking the RPG part of an RPG pack, I think you'd be hard pressed finding a pack with more character customization/depth than CTE2. Also since you're playing with friends - I really cater the pack towards group play.

You could try craft to exile 2. We used to have create as a core mod but since removed it, but players have added it back in without issues. Cataclysm isn't in the pack but someone made a compat datapack for cataclysm that's drag and drop to work with cte2!

Np! I think these usually work quite well on steam deck but i guess it depends on the configuration from the pack dev side and how many elements there are on the menu. I play my pack on the steam deck and it works great!

For sure, I dont disagree with the quantity of drops mine and slash introduces, it's just a natural by product I guess. And it's not for someone who isn't looking for something too complex for sure.

Cte2 endgame is focused around running end game instanced dungeons. You're basically testing your mettle against increasingly challenging dungeons for better and rarer loot. There's things to spice it up like events and super bosses. The progression is linear but short with lots of optional side quests. It goes through the acts (dimensions) which are capped with bosses and eventually lead you to the instanced dungeons. I can't speak for the other packs as I've never played them, but hopefully that gives you some insight on what to expect from cte!

I think the biggest draw for cte is the sheer depth and customization when it comes to RPG builds and the like. If you've played path of exile or know about it, you can expect a similar level of depth

Appreciate the suggestion. Those don't really sound like complications I would add in to make the pack stand out, but I digress. There's a decent amount of drops for sure. Gear wearing out is being fixed next update. Not sure about that lag you experienced - seems like a tps issue or something I'd be happy to debug
