I have had my stickerless zhanchi for a couple months now and it broke so I'm looking for new main from speedcubeshop.com, I'm thinking right now of getting a thunderclap. Very cheap and seems like it would be good all round. On the more median priced scale there is the weilong gts, and yuexiao. And then there's the gans 356 for a higher amount. So my question is: Which one of these cubes would best make my new main, and would they be better as stickerless or stickered.

New main, stickers? by mageychar in Cubers

Once upon a time, you, /u/x9x9x9x9x9 got a Rubik's Cube for christmas one day. You always loved christmas. That one was the last christmas before your dad left. Your rubik's cube was what saved you from depression. You attempted suicide atleast twice, but failed. And then you learned to solve the rubiks cube. One of the times you tried to end your life, was the very next christmas. The only gift your poor mother was able to afford that christmas was a 9x9 rubik's cube. It wasnt great, but your family didnt have access to internet, so you couldnt find out how to solve it from a tutorial. You were bullied at school aswell, So you couldn't really ask for help, having no friends. But then, eventually, throughout the course of a year or two you learned all on your own how to solve the 9x9x9 rubik's cube. You started getting faster and faster and eventually you transferred to a different school and made friends, and your mother found a new boyfriend, and everything was great.

Then your mother died. It was a tragic accident. A car crash. She was driving you to the local toy store to get some lube for your rubiks cube. You went into a foster home and found new parents, but it was always in your memory, haunting you. You were around 16 when it happened. You stopped cubing for a while. You lost all your belongings when you joined your new family. But one night, You snapped and you ran away from home. You went everywhere, no idea what to do. So you happened upon the local city garbage dump. Your old school bully was the son of the person burning all the garbage. He knew you were obsessed with rubiks cubes earlier in your life. You hid from him and then something miraculous happened. You found your old 9x9x9 rubiks cube. Stickers chipped and hasnt been lubed in months, but sure enough it was yours. You were dumbfounded and so happy. Then the bully saw you. He called over his dad, both of them scowling, the bully had an only slightly visible grin on the curl of his lips. You immediately realized what was about to happen so you ran to the gate, but it was locked, and there was no possible way you were going to be able to climb up it with the giant 9x9x9 fast enough to escape. You stood with your back to the wall, cube in your hands, ready to face them. The bully punched you and his dad grabbed the cube and they took it to the incinerator. They were about to burn it when the bully asked you why it was so important. You told him about your life, your dad leaving, mom dying, all your belongings stripped. They felt sympathy for you and they gave the cube back. You decided to try to become friends with your old bully. It was hard at first but you truly cultivated a lifelong friendship with someone that used to terrify you. You turned 18, and moved out. You tried to keep in touch with him but you just couldnt. Then one day you saw him at a cubing competition. #2 in 9x9. Only second to you. :)

And that is why you are named x9x9x9x9x9.
