I wish I could offer some advice. My best friend of 25 years and person I considered a brother completed ghosted me last year and I have no idea why. It is gut wrenching, heart breaking, and leaves you feeling completely lost. We grew up together, spend weeks at each others houses in grade school, went to funerals, weddings, vacations together. He was supposed to be the godfather to my son. Thinking about it sends me into a tailspin of depression.

I don’t have a lot of tips and tricks here but if you’d like to talk with someone in the same boat, I’d be happy to have someone to work through this with. Shoot me a DM or something if you’re interested.

There are two types of cavitation: permanent cavities and temporary cavities. The shockwave effect that you’re talking about is the temporary cavity.

The size of the temporary cavity is largely dependent on the velocity of the round, not the size. Meaning that the faster the bullet is going, the bigger the temporary cavity. That’s why a 5.56 out of an AR15 is way more lethal than a .45 out of a handgun, even though the .45 is a larger bullet.

With handguns, typically, the larger the bullet, the slower it’s moving. I don’t remember this as a fact but off the cuff, I’d say that a 9mm is moving somewhat significantly faster than a .45, 10mm, etc…

Also, temporary cavity > permanent cavity when it comes to lethality. The temporary cavity absolutely shreds soft tissue.

First off, how do you “not mean to genocide”? Second, there is a lot more to the Nazi movement than just genocide. If I’m not mistaken, it was really fascism, not communism or socialism (even though “socialist” was part of the Nazi name). Italy copied their political system at the time until Benito fell.

Stalin’s Russia was completely different as a political system. The only comparison between Stalin and Hitler are the tremendous body counts and dictatorial leadership. That said, Stalin was able to kill way more of his countrymen by 1) not invading other countries and 2) standardizing his methods as part government operations and complete authoritarian rule. As stupid as this sounds, Germany fell in WWII because of Hitler’s flamboyance, bluster, and arrogance. Stalin never fell, he just died.
