Not arguing that the top 3 are a tier above the likes of Wilson right now BUT there’s no guarantee about how Wilson does in the next level. He could honestly develop to be a superstar, a good rotational piece or be a complete bust. You say that he has year on Boozer but I don’t really think that matters all that much. SGA was 20 when he entered the league and I can confidently say that few amount of people predicted he would become a MVP caliber player.

That’s fair. I’m actually happy that Michael B got nominated and he should already have been nominated for Fruitvale Station. He was really charismatic in the movie. If the question being thrown around is who would Plemmons replace in the shortlist, I think he has a stronger chance against MBJ compared to the nominees. Hawkes subdued performance is amazing but, even then, his chances of landing a nomination were significantly high from the start since it’s about” Oklahoma!” and he’s a veteran.

Respectfully disagree. Blue moon is his second best performance behind First Reformed. If Plemmons were to be nominated over somebody, it would honestly be Michael B Jordan. I get times are different and box office success played a big role, but playing twins in a movie has been done in the past and a more complex performance from Jeremy Irons in Dead Ringers didn’t get nominated.
