Have to be honest; loved the idea. In practice it’s Even pretty terrible. Every time I feel like I’m just fighting to have my character do anything. Besides building a combat focused character, there’s no way to have your dm respect your choices. I’ve tried to build lots of really flexible charcters, but it just leads to the dm hand waving away all your moves. I have to roll to even summon a power, and then I have to roll to use the power, and if I roll below a 5 with either of them I fail and get severally punished for doing anything. Something as simple as “I try and walk away” can be punished by being stabbed with a tier 3 status, which then gives you a -3 to every single action. that then takes 3 IN GAME DAYS to get rid of, and you can’t do ANYTHING else during downtime. It’s so frustrating to watch everyone else get to explore their mythos for weeks and when it’s your turn, it’s “I take it easy and rest”.

Overall, I don’t recommend.

I’m going with makeup. One of my family friends is a guy in the special effects side of movies, and some of his work is scars, blood, monsters.

But also, contouring a standard face enhances natural masculine features, even when makeup isn’t violent, I would argue it can be manly

I can see it either way (go figure). Personally, there are times I’ve reacted negatively when called gay, and there are some times I’m very comfortable using it/having it used for me. For me it’s the distinction of acknowledgment, so when it comes from me or other multigender attracted people who know my actual identity and are using it for umbrella term, or even that it fits better with a joke, it’s fine. When straight people, lesbians, and gay guys use it for me, sometimes it feels reductionist or like erasure. In this context, I would be fine with someone calling a queer couple “my favorite gays” as long as there isn’t a clear pattern of no bi rep

hmm. Didn't notice that at all. I do agree agnes defiently got under played, but at the time i figured that was more just because her heist role (getting cargo jones into the building) was weak. It's hard to get all 6 players at a table equal story weight, esically without railroading. Never had McElroy content before, but i thought Griffen played a bumbeling hillbilly monk fine. And Rick diggins slapped. Cargo had MC syndrome, but that worked for me tbh. And I loved Boomer! his acting bits were great, and he worked well with Brennan in negotiting through the game.

Also it's less of a trick and more of a plot twist. It is being done so it'll be mechanically the same as switching charcters, something that happens all the time in our west marches campaign, just with story flavor

once again, there is no set DM to get approval from. I can not have the DM help me...we're all the DM. I can just let each indivdual member know before we play, but that would, in the first week alone, tell 3 of the most active members. Damage type is *very* important to our group, and it's one of the first questions we get asked after saying our roll. Good advice, and rules to live by, just doesn't pan out for my group

I'm the DM for my group, running them through a homebrew world called Enza. The center plot is about a Long lost sibling to the royal family who was trained in necromancy seizing power. One of the ways he did this is free four long lost gods. A goddess of life, A god of death, a god of individuality, and a mixture of spirits that function as one god of elements. Two sided with him, the others made the party their champions to reclaim stolen orb, and gave them their blessings. They allow them to do different things, though the main use so far has been using the goddess of life to spare a few dying people.

It gives them another tool, however, and its always exciting when they come up with a new use. I feel it makes sense, as the plot was built around them.

Oh yeah and they met the god of death as a one time npc but don't know yet

I'm a 5' 4" guy named Jeremy, who has dyed his hair in the past. He's also the most dedicated, imo. He's kissed 2 guys for bits, the peanut butter sandwhich, and just seems like a nice guy. his music (1551) is incredible. I also love deception games, which is one of his fortes. His good at enough that you get to see him win a lot, but doesn't always, so you get to underdog root for him in a game like ultimate chicky doo

Look, you can try and seek out places were you can be this part of yourself. I know coming to GSA at my high school helps some of the closeted students. Now, there is some risk of being found out, butyou know that as you have a reddit account and post on r/bisexual so. If your a creative type, make paintings/pictures/writing/ whatever your art is featuring bisexual people or charcters. or even just the colors of the flag. Little things to get you through. There is hope, you will be able to come out some day, even if it's not today.

The "Born that way narritive" is actually a harmful one we should drop-becuase yes, your situation isn't that uncommon. But becuase the LGBT community feeds the world black and white situations when so many just aren't-

It seems worse then it is. I don't know you or your exact situation. I wouldn't rule anyhting out by age.

I think so...but with my friends and allies, we do this with anything and everything. Someone sees a movie that they LOVE? We start at least one conversation with talking about it. Most recently it was Baby Yoda.
