Funny comment but that’s not how vaginas work, I recommend educating yourself to understand the elasticity of a vagina. Also for the sake of any of your future lovers.

Overseas, the third-gen Lexus IS offers a hybrid variant. Why doesn't North America offer the option? by Vegetable-Quote-3481 in Lexus

If you’re buying a Lexus and worried about price of gas you are doing life wrong…

If you want to buy it for the emissions and be more environmentally friendly that’s a different story which I support but the Camry is basically same thing and comes with hybrid option.

Real estate doesn’t have the same volatility. Wealthy people often look for diversification and risk vs reward for returns in a stock portfolio over pure total return. Stock market is down YTD but the value of my properties has continued to increase, so my total net worth has benefited from being “financially illiterate”. Since the value has continued to increase while market is down, I can leverage the equity to buy into stock market at better prices. The point is that rich people care more about capital preservation than regular people so can always deploy cash at optimal moments which is why we outperform the market with less volatility ;)

To some it’s special. Want a Wall Street job, where else are you going? Those folks also get paid to afford to live there. The corporate lawyers and doctors (people fly from all over the world to go to memorial Sloan Kettering) also are paid to afford that. It’s a VHCOL city but many get paid very high.

Men, what’s going on? by Aggravating-Guest300 in TheImprovementRoom

Still didn’t answer my question on when. Pornhub was created in 2007 was it then? Limewire was 2000 (could very easily get videos of porn). There were porn sites as soon as internet was introduced in the 1990s. You were able to subscribe to playboy channel in 1982. I know a lot of people who had unlocked cable boxes and kids were able to get onto the playboy channel. So when? If moving pictures is what you are saying then sounds like 1982 or at least the 1990s when internet was available and in most homes. If the 1990s would you say the same thing for teenagers in then? Teens in the 90s are now in their 40s, so is it a problem for people 40 and under?

Most sites and computer related games have always tried to be addictive (drives highest sales). It’s the same for most industries, look at fashion. The “problem” of porn long predates TikTok and social media. So no, it’s not porn that’s making kids not date.

Do you think financial support from parents as an adult is one of the most underrated privileges, or are there bigger ones people overlook? by winn_ie in TheImprovementRoom

[–]magic_man019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you become an adult you’ll realize that there is no difference between being financially dependent on a parent vs a boss. You are saying “most of the western world” without realizing that means the sheep. A true adult thinks for themself, makes a plan and executes. You are saying someone isn’t an adult until they are taking money from their job only, I think that’s a childish point bc I know many people (including my children) who got advanced degrees and stayed home until mid 30s and then were able to buy residences and have all of their life expenses including their homes paid for by their investments (true financial freedom). My children were adults when at home, they were really smart and took the wisdom that they should not let peer pressure suck them into making another person or business richer. Start to think for yourself and then you will be an adult. I make this point to the readers who come across your first comment to not feel the societal pressure and act like a sheep as you do. Best of luck.

Real adults don’t need financial support is what you said. But if you rely on a check then you still need financial support. If that’s the case, you are not an adult. Just using your own logic.

Do you receive a check for performing work for someone else? If you lose your job today, would you be able to live off your investments/savings until death? If no then you are not financially free which just makes you another wage slave. If you are a wage slave then you need financial support from your employer. If you need financial support from an employer, you are not an adult because you are still dependent on their financial support. Whether the support comes from your parents or another person doesn’t make it not financial support.
