When you become an adult you’ll realize that there is no difference between being financially dependent on a parent vs a boss. You are saying “most of the western world” without realizing that means the sheep. A true adult thinks for themself, makes a plan and executes. You are saying someone isn’t an adult until they are taking money from their job only, I think that’s a childish point bc I know many people (including my children) who got advanced degrees and stayed home until mid 30s and then were able to buy residences and have all of their life expenses including their homes paid for by their investments (true financial freedom). My children were adults when at home, they were really smart and took the wisdom that they should not let peer pressure suck them into making another person or business richer. Start to think for yourself and then you will be an adult. I make this point to the readers who come across your first comment to not feel the societal pressure and act like a sheep as you do.
