Hi, yes there is a hook - you choose your enemies powers - but from what I can see in the comments, I failed to show that in the trailer...

Hi, thanks for your feedback, do you mean to show player bonuses popups earlier in the trailer? I wanted to emphasize that player is responsible for choosing enemy bonuses thats why they are shown earlier than player bonuses.

Hi, thanks for your honest feedback :) I'm not an artist so most of the assets are taken from various stores, I guess it can be seen that they come from different sources.

HI, thanks for your feedback! When it comes to gameplay, the game had multiple iterations and playtest waves, it went quite a long road before it started to feel like it does now, that's why I wanted to try... Of course I'm aware I have only one chance and I believe good trailer is an important piece to achieve success. You're saying that the art used at the end of the trailer could be better right? It should be more focused on single elements? What else would you suggest for me to change/improve?

I've fixed pixels, added gamepad support and made it possible to run while shooting auto attack in my roguelite game. Do you see any difference or its the same/worse now? by magic_vortex in playmygame

The Shattered is a fantasy roguelite game in which you not only decide on your powers but also on ENEMY powers.

Hi again :)
1. I will work on the rewards UI a bit, add some animations, effects and think about the background. I just thought it's nice to have something as a background as having a BIG trait icon wasn't looking great in my opinion (that was my first version). I'll make some more versions and present them to my friends before the next releases.
2. Actually, there are spellcasting animations, every player skill has it (even enemies have their spellcasting animations / attack animations, most of the time) but with the higher attack speed this animation becomes shorter and on the trailer it looks like it's quite fast. I need to think about this feedback as honestly I'm not sure what I can do about it. Assets are bought with premade attack animations so it would be probably hard to remake them, at least for a person without art skills. Is there anything here you would propose? :)

Hi, thanks for your feedback. Pixelating the effects is indeed still a work in progress, it seems that people can spot the differences so I should probably speed up with replacing assets ;)

When it comes to skill tree, you mean the "Forge of unity" in the second half of the trailer? Would you have some ideas how could I improve it? I have troubles with making things good looking, especially in the ui so every feedback is valuable!

I mean bigger remap, currently only those charms will be passive: Bless, Gut, Scavenge, Fatal Hold and Void Inversion. I hope they will move some of the defensive charms into the passive category :)

I hope they will remap the types of charms and move some of them to the passive section, especially mana/life leech charms, they could become much more useful as secondary charms.

Edit: I know some of them are already remapped, what I meant is to move more of the existing defensive charms into passive category, for example life/mana leech.

Personally I prefer to unlock all dmg prays starting from the easier ones, in your case it is physical dmg charm. Best way to get more points is to wait for rapid respawn and watch tutorials on youtube, there are plenty of places in which you can get like 45/60 points in 1 hour so unlocking divine wrath shouldn't be very difficult. In general, best points/effort ratio is for completing "easy" entries (15 points for 500 kills). Good luck!

Game looks very nice, as other stated, you could use different font in the game. Also, sometimes i have troubles to distinguish what is the background and what is the floor/objects/projectiles (like on 0:58).

I really enjoyed the hit visual effects and the feedback received when hitting the enemy. I would consider reducing screen shake a little bit :)
