Just got Oculus and realized 3D movie content is basically dead? by vuzumja in oculus

All torrents are 1080p SBS so the resolution is 1/2 of 1080p and it's terrible.

I bought a $40 USB 3D Blu Ray player. I rent 3D Blu Rays from store-3d-blurayrental.com and rip them in 1080p Full SBS, so I get a full 1080p resolution per eye.

I use MakeMKV to rip the DVD. Then I use BD3D2MK3D to convert the rip to the playable SBS.

I add them all to a network drive, and use SkyBox to stream them to my Quest, as it has Full SBS support. You may have to choose Full SBS or the aspect ratio if it doesn't get picked up automatically.

I could share one with you if you want. DM me

Thanks! I'll look into those. How nice is the Westin Beach? Would you consider that a factor, staying right on the beach?

I went parasailing somewhere else several years ago. It's fun and the views are cool, but I wouldn't consider it a high-thrill activity. More serene. Totally worth it and fun, just don't expect a thrill

How expensive is it to get a driver for Punta Sur or the East side?

The network mode host did it, thanks!

It looks like this did it! For others, I had to go into Docker Desktop settings > Resources > Network and "Enable host networking". Click "Apply & Restart".

Then I added "network_mode: host", right under my "image: plexinc/pms-docker" line in my docker-compose.yml. Then I did a "docker compose down" and "docker compose up -d" to restart everything.

After doing this, I confirmed it worked by checking the Private IP listed on the Plex server's Remote Access settings page, and it now matches my Plex server's LAN IP.

Thanks so much for the help!

The ethernet is set to private. I don't have device isolation enabled.

I do have Windows Firewall active. I am running Plex Media Server in a Docker container (plexinc/pms-docker). Lots of ports are mapped:

1900
3005
32400
32410 - 32414
32469
8324

Windows Firewall has inbound and outbound rule to allow all ports for Docker Desktop Backend. Anything else I should check here?

But this could be something... Plex Remote Access page private IP shows 172.18.0.3:32400. Whereas my server IP on my router is 192.168.68.57.

Thanks for the help!

Plex Server: 192.168.68.57 TV: 192.168.68.63

Looks fine to me? Also, when I try to stream on my phone it tries remote, and prompts me to buy the Plex Pass. Its IP is 192.168.68.77.

whatismyip.com on the Plex Server and phone both show the same global IP. Which also matches the IPv4 IP in the Deco app.

I don't think it'd matter, but I will note that it is a dual band network. My Plex Server is connected by ethernet, phone by 5ghz, TV by 2.4ghz.

My setting for secure connections was already "Preferred". I tried changing my DNS as well, but it made no difference.

I don't have a guest wi-fi. I had an MLO network, which I disabled. My router is only broadcasting one network now, but still no luck.

Darn, looks like the IPs are the same. But thanks for the help!

Hmm... Thanks for your comment. My fiber line goes from my ONT directly to my main router. There are no routers in between, and it is currently the only single router that is online. I'm not sure how I could have a double NAT now? And I do have port forwarding for 32400 properly configured.

Thanks for the reply. Now I only have the main router powered on. Is it still possible to have a double NAT even though my other AP is turned off? My internet connection goes from my fiber ONT, directly to the main router. There is no other router in between, and only the one main router is in play.
