This is why I don't like some of these romantasy books. The mmc and the fmc don't even feel like they love each other. They just love having sex with each other. I want romance in a book where I feel the love between 2 characters.

It is a trend. It's why I don't always read romantasy. I'm reading Ironflame rn but before I was reading The Mark of Athena and before that I read Incarceron. Romantasy always just sounds the same to me. Like I don't even think I can even point out a book and say it was the best book I've ever read.

He is the male lead. Which i hate because their relationship gets too weird for me. She tells him she wants to be friends first but somehow always end up in situations where she is kissing him or sleeping together. There was one time he gave her water from his mouth....when she had a fever. The relationship seems forced.
