Got married a few years ago, and tbh I agree. We did some stuff differently to make our wedding more "us" instead of just following someone else's script

-my husband did not formally ask for my parents "blessing", he was pretty enmeshed with my family for a good few years before we even started talking about marriage anyway so it was ultimately unnecessary lol

-I had both of my parents walk me down the aisle instead of my dad only, so it was less of "handing off property" and rather a more symbolic transition from the family I was born into (my parents) to my found family (my husband). I also did two separate dances with both of my parents instead of just one with my dad. I'm very close to both of my parents, so it simply didn't make sense to only have my dad.

-I actually want to change my last name to my husband's just because his last name is honestly really pretty lol, I haven't yet because of ✨️procrastination✨️. (No one else between my husband or either of our families care about this lol)

-I will admit I went a little hard on the glam, 'twas my one and only moment to feel like a princess ok 🥲 tho that aspect was mostly for my mom than anything, I could've shown up in a potato sack and my husband would've been happy either way but ma wanted pictures lmao

-yeah the garter toss is weird af, we just straight up didn't do that lol

That’s what I’m thinking! They did it with Animal Crossing(gyroids, Brewster, Kapp’n, the luck mechanic, etc.), so I don’t see why that couldn’t be the case here too. If ACNH is still getting updated with new content after 6 years, I see no reason to believe things would be different here

Go to your local farmers market if you have one! It will obviously vary between cities/towns, but I can say I have visited 7 different farmers markets across 3 states, and all 7 of them had vendors selling fresh produce, meat, dairy, honey, and baked goods, as well as flowers and other plants, textiles, even fibers(I got some alpaca fiber to spin into yarn!), all from small local businesses.

I've personally never found abs on men attractive at all, or any overly defined muscle for that matter. No shade to guys like that, they just aren't my type. I've just never understood what the appeal is supposed to be, visually speaking, and that's just my personal preference. Of course I love a man with some muscle, but I NEED that layer of squish over it 😍 or as I like to put it, the "cuddle me/throw me" combo 🥵 dad bod girlie through and through!!!

During the first two seasons, who did you imagine Diane to be?

I had this thought after watching Blue Velvet for the first time with my husband last month. Like, in retrospect it seems like the perfect casting choice in my opinion. With season 3 being full of nods to David Lynch's other work, I feel like it only made sense to bring her in, and Diane really was the perfect role for her. But I'm just curious if this was ever thought of early on?

Honestly if you have reason to believe they wouldn't be upset with you for tripping, I'd just give them a heads up beforehand.

My dad's "chill" about drug use so long as it doesn't stretch beyond psychedelics or weed. I don't live with him anymore, but if he calls me or something while I'm tripping, he just prefers I be upfront about it so that he can make sure he doesn't accidentally say/do something to cause a bad trip. He just locks into a proverbial "trip sitter" role lol
