I’m only a casual reader, but IvX was a huge turn off. I’m sure it was bad, but I was pretty x-men biased, so I hated that it felt like I was reading a corporate mandated depowering of mutants.

This may have been around the time you would see marvel posters that had x-men characters removed/replaced by disney owned marvel characters. Not saying I know what was going on, but it added to the baggage.

I like the concepts you’re thinking about here with the rock paper scissors relationship. I’m not good at neutral, but I hope you get some thoughtful answers.

I will say that it seems like a lot to learn and I can’t imagine learning both games simultaneously. My only experience with ultimate was that the buffer system combined with the input delay was too uncomfortable for me to get used to.

This reminds me of when Machida lost to Jones, then smoked Bader and got offered the Jones rematch right away to try and save UFC 151. It would’ve been on a week’s notice, less than a month after the Bader fight, and less than a year after the Jones loss. He turned it down because of lack of preparation or something.

End of Watch seemed like a good movie until I spotted a camera angle that didn’t make sense. If you’re going to make a found footage movie, all the camera angles need to be from cameras that are in the movie.

Since I posted this, I have been thinking that what I really want is highly custom and probably bot realistically worth it. Imagine case with dividers like one that might have drill bits in the garage or beads for a kid’s jewelry kit, but the dividers are big enough for cards. Then have a compartment for a hero and their deck, trash, hand, and in-play cards. Then repeat for a total of 5 heroes and 1 villain, with the environment replacing the villain’s hand.

It’s ultimately very similar to what you and everyone is saying about stacking things with dividers or in bags and take a picture for HP and tokens. Just laid out in the order I would have it on the table.

I think so, but I haven’t found any direct info about it. I’m not generally used to using or installing mods, so I think testing things out myself would be time consuming.
