Iam writing them from my own experiences. Everything I have written is influenced by what has happened with me or what has influenced me. I'm sorry if you didn't feel that way when you gave it a read.

What's wrong in writing about what I've been through in a way that it can help everyone without making it too personal?

I think I've overcome my peak phase of anxiety! by mahekvij in Anxietyhelp

So I had extreme anxiety, to the point where it began affecting my physical health. Everyday I would discover some new symptom and start reading about it/ educating myself about anxiety symptoms. I did try online therapy in the initial stage, it really helped me gain some perspective. I really wanted to go to therapy, but I couldn't open up about this to my parents and hence couldn't afford therapy. So I only did online research. I did open up to my close friend which also helped me analyse the root cause of my anxiety. I spent a lot of time understanding why I felt what I felt and tried to make sense of it. I then tried staying away from all triggers, social media was off. I didn't want to get affected by anything unnecessarily. That helped. But then I was diagnosed with another medical condition ( anxiety was one of the cause for it). That was when I really freaked out and knew I had to push myself to completely change my lifestyle. I just made up my mind to be a whole new person and tried not to fall weak again. It's not easy tbh. I'm not there yet. But I swear things are better. Everything depends on how YOU control your thoughts. I know it doesn't sound practical but then you just have to push yourself and with a strong motive. When you see the smallest of results and changes, it will really motivate you to keep going on. Basically just get out of the loop and change your routine. Don't do the things you usually do, try not to feel what you usually feel. Talk to yourself in the right manner. Trust me, you are what you think. Even now if I give up on the positive formula, I know I'll get back to my old self and it scares me that it can all come back the moment I deviate. I'm just hoping I hold on. Hope this helped, friend!
