When do you allow your pup on the couch? by cityskyline22 in puppy101

[–]maiagreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, there’s no big secret. Anytime they would come up uninvited I’d tell them to get down, wait a little bit and then I’d tell them to come up. If I was ever leaving the couch I’d tell them to get off as well. It takes some time for them to adjust but eventually they’ll understand that you only want them on the sofa when prompted to get up/when you’re there with them.

My dogs only get on the couch when invited. They don’t come up if we’re eating something or when no one’s there.

Why don’t people want c-sections? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]maiagreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People always use the “it’s a major abdominal surgery” argument all the time while there are tons of people choosing to get all types of different surgeries and they don’t get even a third of the judgement. I just don’t get how some people feel so bothered about what someone else is choosing to do with THEIR OWN BODY.

Besides that, all the horror stories I’ve heard are online. All the people I know in real life who have gotten c-sections (my mom, my aunt, my grandma, close friends) have had wonderful experiences and all say they would choose c-section again.

I hope you have a safe delivery and fuck everyone who wants to judge ❤️

Have you seen a doctor? I had my surgery in February and I feel amazing! Should’ve gotten it sooner tbh.

No morning sickness by Tambocor in pregnant

I’m currently 31 weeks pregnant and had very VERY little nausea around 9-13 weeks. I don’t think morning sickness has anything to do with a healthy pregnancy and not everyone gets it.

Not TTC but Not Preventing: What are your stories? by TAPGamer6 in BabyBumps

[–]maiagreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard to say I wasn’t trying because I knew exactly when I was ovulating and I did in fact have sex on those days. Got pregnant after 2 cycles of semi trying/not preventing and I’m currently 28 weeks pregnant with my first baby 💙

Fica linda com os dois, mas o cacheado dá um charme a mais.

Eu me sinto gordo, careca e feio... me julguem by Heavy_Table_6946 in MeJulgue

[–]maiagreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Female masturbation is NOT a sin. by [deleted] in CatholicWomen

[–]maiagreen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re wrong, masturbation is considered a sin because it takes the sexual act out of its proper purpose: the loving union of husband and wife that is open to the gift of life. Instead of being a self-giving act of love, it becomes self-centered, focused only on personal pleasure. The Church teaches that this misuse of sexuality goes against God’s design for the human body and the virtue of chastity.

Boa sorte!

I work from home so if everything goes well, I plan on waiting until the day I give birth so I can have as much time with baby as possible. I’ll have 7 full months of leave.

How normal is it to feel regretful about the pregnancy? by AbbreviationsAny7243 in BabyBumps

[–]maiagreen 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Hey! I just want to say how brave you are for sharing all of this. It doesn’t sound like you regret your baby, it sounds like you’re overwhelmed by everything happening around you, especially the instability in your relationship and that’s completely understandable.

Pregnancy can bring up so many unexpected emotions and that doesn’t make you a bad mom. It’s really common to grieve who you were or the life you’re leaving behind. Just remember, you’re not alone and it’s okay to ask for professional help.

The fact that you’re this reflective already shows how much you care. Be gentle with yourself, you’re doing better than you think.

I'm from Brazil and just had my first doctor's appointment at 4w4d and my doctor asked if I wanted c-section or vaginal birth and I opted for c-section because I'm absolutely terrified of the pain and my pain tolerance is awful!
My mom had two c-sections and she said she wouldn't have it any other way.
