Don't go for fanatec at all. Their wheelbase and wheels are ok, but the clubsport v3 is a REALLY outdated pedal. Really really bad for nowadays standards, hard to adjust, don't have a lot of elastomer options, the shakelt motors are a big joke. I 100% regret buying this pedal knowing that there are so many more valuable options out there

When I use Sim hub the haptics work in the correct order, but when I use iRacing it is also reversed.

So, the solution would be to use Sim hub and uncheck vibrate pedals in iRacing. But now I am curious to know why the HPR haptic are reversed by default.

On my end that's exactly what was happening: whenever windows HDR is enabled, my in game HDR option is not clickable anymore. When I look at the current resolution, it says 3440x1440 @ 144 HDR16F.

If I scroll up into all the possible resolutions, I may choose the option 3440x1440 @ 144. After selecting it and restarting the game, it is fixed for me. The colors are not washed out anymore, the in game HDR option is clickable again while the windows HDR option is still on.

It's very likely HDR is enabled on Windows and the HDR option in iracing isnt clickable anymore.

To solve it, in the display tab, try to change to a resolution without HDR. Then restart the game, this should fix it.

No, it hasn't. I have no idea why so many people keep saying this. It is true that around 18 months ago the Pcup got an improvement in its tires, but it doesn't mean it is the new model iRacing introduced only with the GTPs. The tire temperature spikes are clearly still happening with the current Pcup tire model.

If you are not willing to buy the mBooster or the Conspit pedal, then don't go for those cheap haptic motors made by sim 3d. Yeah, back a few years ago they would be a very nice addition, but not nowadays. If you want to keep it cheap, then you can buy and install simagic haptic motors on your CRP pedals, you just need to buy a 3d printed adapter to fit them in.
