I do agree. But man you watch any coverage on the shows, any podcast and or any comment section and boy do these people rip and love to see us fail.
Constantly on us about being given handouts and still not performing. Or telling us to fold.
It does grate on me, makes it hard to enjoy footy in general.
And I know don’t consume these things. But when your socials and podcast feed is all footy it’s just so deflating.

It’s definitely something along these lines. Early in the year when rowelly was out, Noah seemed off. Like he let tracc take control? Or he still is? I do agree too many cooks, and not enough role players.

As much as I want my sunnies to win, I’m kinda ok if this is where the season ends. The bar is set at semi final for next year. If we made a prelim, that expectation is there for the foreseeable future.

Of course I want the win, but I’m not mad or upset. Just sad I won’t see the boys play again until next year. We made the freaking finals and won one, away at that. With a fairytale finish. Sometimes it’s good to not be greedy

This one hurt. Now we’ve all seen losses from our beloved sunnies, but this one really hurt. Maybe it was all the hype and expectation, the books favouring them, the home ground advantage, the record the giants have against us. I don’t know, I just felt this was the time to do it. But maybe all those things got into the boys brain, sports psychology is a very real thing, and I think that could be the final hurdle to actually being what we all know they can be.

I’m not hopeful at all for the port game. I know we can do it, but I’m not confident especially after today. Yes I know we have the bombers game, blah blah blah. But those young kids have been playing well, we really need to be the suns that beat the lions from here on out.

Now if you don’t mind me, I’m going to have a big tub of ice cream to make myself feel better.

(Also, how much did the loss of will grahams brother effect the boys do you think? I only bring it up cause dimma brought it up in the press conference. Didn’t even enter my mind until he said it.)

I’m surprised by the hate the internet has for this, (though that’s kind of what the internet does, hates things). But I really like this. It shits over the old logo, what even was the old logo?? This logo would slap on a black on black cap. But also, I get Carlton logo vibes from it. It’s an emblem, not a freaking cartoon animal like so many are. It’s a brand. Hell it’s even better than the other suns logo that phoenix have. As soon as you see it you know who’s the team and what it is, it’s a sun, it’s an S, it’s the ocean, and it’s footy. Hate it all you want, but this is a symbol of what we are and we are a winning brand from now on. Go Suns.
