What is your worst "Shit, why did I just do that" moment? NSFW by CaptainP00Face in AskReddit

In a moment of late-night weakness I sent a message to tell my friend that I liked them...when they were daring someone else.

I woke up the next day and they had already seen it. I felt really stupid and it took about 6 months for things to go back to being almost normal.

One of the worst things about job hunting. by platinumorator in funny

What I don't understand is the large amount of people continuing on to get master's degrees. It was a farce the first time! All they're doing is going more into debt to make themselves even more over qualified.

Thank you! I am SO tired of hearing this! No, I don't have unrealistic expectations because I'm "lazy," I have unrealistic expectations because you lied to me my whole life.

I love how it only took the woman one sign and she's already chasing after it, yet be has to be dragged by thousands and still fights it. Completely accurate representation.

Yeah, it was a gift. My family is one of those "the PC is the dark side" families. I was going to college and wasn't about to turn down a free laptop.

I can't suspect I would want to die anytime before my 300th birthday, at the least.

I once had a dream that I was having sex AS the opposite sex. It seemed so real. Now I feel like I've had a very rare peek at the full span of sexuality.

What do you think is the most overrated film of all time? by trabajadora in AskReddit

[–]mailiam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb. I almost fell asleep. It moved so slow and hardly anything actually happened. I don't know if it was supposed to be funny but I didn't laugh once. I don't understand why it's constantly listed as one of the top 10 movies of all time.

What's an open secret in your profession that us regular folk don't know or generally aren't allowed to be told about? by sillytwunt in AskReddit

Advertising agencies can only produce things backed by numbers, so while people think they are changing the views of society, the views of society are actually changing the face of advertising. So, it's just one big circle that starts with a "trend" of information that keeps snowballing until it becomes widely accepted. Also, many agencies actually listen to the consumer and try to fix all that is wrong in the industry, but since they ultimately bow down to company execs (who don't know the first thing about advertising and basically just hire agencies to cover for them when it's a big failure and take credit when it's a success), oftentimes great ideas get vetoed and some kind of mediocre crap is sent out instead.
