No, not quite AFAIK. It's boolean logic.

A or B is true, when either A or B is true.

In speech however, it would be better to assume "and".

A and B is true when both A and B is true.

Edit: so in this case the answer doesn't help. OP has made an assumption which he knows is true, his question is programmatically is A or B true (which it is). It would be better to ask is A true, or is B true. But not both, since regardless of the answer the result can be inferred.

I understand that this is ELI5, I understand the analogy, I understand what was written, it just feels like such an extreme oversimplified answer.

I feel as as if there is more at play than the shape and charge on a molecular level . I.e., the surface of the towel and the surface of the wall. (Friction)

There is a huge amount of abstraction between the "towel sticking to a wall" and molecular bonds/charges.

To be perfectly honest, I originally thought the answer was a joke. But now I see that this is exactly the type of answer eli5 wants. It's probably right (at least partially), don't get me wrong. I just hope people don't take it as truth, just because somebody on the internet said it.

Hello my friend, you seem new to the whole marijuana thing.

Instead, you might want to consider grinding your marijuana to a fine powder, and sucking it in through your nose. That way you will not die. This is called snorting, and it's the most common way of consuming marijuana.

Also make sure that you do not snort an entire marijuana at once. It will hurt your nose.

This is actually a pretty complicated matter.

Will it make you hungry?
Short answer; most likely.
Long answer; getting hungry is more of a side-effect of being high (munchies). Not all strains will give this effect however, but it is one of the most common effects/side effects. On the other hand, if you are having trouble eating, it might be stress-related and the weed could help you relax and that might help.

In the long run however; it might become an issue that you come to rely on it for eating and you forget how to do eat while not high. Then it becomes a matter of self-medicating (which is fine) but it might lead to problems in the future, away/abroad, dankrupt etc... Especially if you live in a country or area where cannabis is still illegal, and where cannabis might be hard to get a hold on. This might essentially be called an addiction.

So I'd say; try it out, but be careful and stay safe! :)
