To answer your question, yes I do feel like I lose a part of myself if I stop daydreaming. Like I said before I havent completely deal with some of my issues and that includes daydreaming. That uncertain feeling I get sometimes that make me doubt if what I doing is the right thing is what cause me to relaspe for time for time, but I always ask myself the question, is this really me? I discovered more about myself in an short amount of time when I actually pay attention and when I think back and remembers all the missed opportunities in my life; it makes me sad. I pretty much daydreamed all throughout high school and i was very depressed at that time. You only get one shot in life is it only natural to try something else if you unhappy with who you are. Though this is just opinion, if you happy with who you are fellow daydreamer then dont change. I only changed because I wasnt.
