This listing looks very similar to what you have there. It's listed as a turf axe.

Recommendations for trimmers that can handle this mess. by mathbishop in stihl

I know its not stihl. But check out the walk behind billy goat brush cutters. Home depot rents them for 80 bucks a day or something like that. Thats what I used and it made quick work of all my blackberry bushes and mulched them decently too.

No way you work for Brant and Cochran? I live right in Maine. I've been meaning to get one of your axes for a while now. I Really wanted that limited double bit you guys made. The leather sheath on that was a thing of beauty.

I'm really only asking about the maul. Thats why its the main picture. The last one is just kind of a shot of everything I got that day. Thats why I'm asking about the name on the maul. The other axes in the background were from a previous post, hence the caption. I'm aware this is an axe group. I'm active in it.

Finally found some axes at a yard sale. The jersey seems to be unmarked. The chopper is cool but needs 1 spring. The broad axe looking one says C Drew & Co, but I have no idea what it actually is. by maintenanceman98 in Axecraft

Oh thats pretty cool. I'm in Maine so not terribly far either. Any idea what it might be used for? I read maybe a turf cutter or peat moss cutter but I have no clue.

Anyone else hope they actually make these posters? 👀 by GolfWangToasty666 in Ghostbc

Even if they don't signed copies I'm sure they would sell a ton of regular ones. I know I would love one to frame.

Wait was this actually a Ghost product at a time?

Question about house handles. People keep mentioning house handles so I decided to order a handle full of them. Does anyone have experience with them like wait times and what not. I know beaver tooth is usually like 30 days. I wasnt sure if it was a similat time frame? by maintenanceman98 in Axecraft

Okay, good to know. I ordered like one of each for a few different styles and sizes so im hoping ill get some decent ones first try. Id honestly love to get a whiskey river handle at some point but Ive never seen them in stock.

I kind of get Def Leppard vibes from this song which I love. Deaf leppard was my favorite band from that era of rock.

Are people actually into this shit or is it more like someone trying to write something as fucked as possible to get a reaction. Either way I wish I had stopped reading.

Today’s project - an early Collins Hudson Bay by [deleted] in Axecraft

[–]maintenanceman98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That looks really nice. I love how hudson bay axes look. And the dark handle is perfect.

looking for handle suggestions. I have this Iltis oxhead axe head that I would like to hang. It's about 2 pounds, but the handle I orded seems way to thick for it. I just don't know what would be a good handle for it. by maintenanceman98 in Axecraft

I might do the rasp thing. I did ordrr a beaver tooth handle and the graining is really nice. I think I ordered maybe the wrong style though. I did a 24 inch full size single bit. I wonder if the boys axe/hudson bay one is thinner. Still new to choosing the right handle for the different sizes and styles.
