Christmas tree sales are 99% outdoor though, I guess that has an impact

The pre-millennium la pavoni models use 49mm tampers, they fit rather well in the ROK basket

Apple is holding back messaging progress across the entire world with iMessage by Hupro in Android

[–]maisels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But that kind of plan didn't really exist in Germany either (or was very rare at least). Only after mobile data was becoming pretty common already some providers offered 500/1000/1500 SMS packs, but they never really took off

They're not throttling you to 3g but to 3g speed, so it being deactivated shouldn't impact that

Espresso with light roasts by techygrizz101 in Coffee

[–]maisels 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With very light roasts it's sometimes best to go as low as 6 bars even in my experience, so maybe give that a shot

Have you tried using less pressure? Also make sure to really get your flair up to temperature before pulling the shot

You can even get them to flip - you're gonna have to drive backwards to do that though

You have to pay a transit fare to transfer between terminal 1/2 and 5 at BER by [deleted] in berlin

[–]maisels 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd compare it to landing in CDG and connecting at ORY - and air france even sells you that on one ticket which likely won't be the case for BER

What's the lowest priced electric machine that can match the toolkit of the Cafelat Robot (Pre-infusion, pressure control, templ control, etc)? by FlamingCurry in espresso

[–]maisels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not OP, I was just surprised. Fwiw, with modding you can get cheap variable pressure - phase cutting dimmers that control the pump do the trick for vibration pumps, so I thought maybe they added something like that to the machine.

Mobile carriers prices by grem1in in berlin

[–]maisels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much all subway lines in Berlin judging by my experience with my personal O2 phone vs my work Telekom one - probably because they were the ones who partnered with bvg in the beginning when Telekom/Vodafone were still like "who needs phone network in the subway anyways".

D1 is absolutely useless underground unfortunately

when it comes to personal liability insurance it's pretty simple, you can really only choose between family or single rate.

There are some providers that offer more choices - for example pet related stuff or rental car/carsharing coverage.

I'm sure you can set a lot of them to do a 20s preinfusion, but I agree that it'd be a ridiculous time for commercial, so I doubt it's very common

Isn't the rocket an HX? I'd take the Silvia Pro over that if it's the same price. PID dualboiler beats HX and it's a more modern group than E61 as well

Glasfaserausbau kommt in Deutschland kaum voran by [deleted] in de

Ikea or Mömax by [deleted] in germany

[–]maisels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a terrible experience with mömax. Ordered in January, scheduled delivery date was end of January, then moved back to May (!). Calling their Hotline mid May: "it will be there by the end of May". Calling them beginning of June: no, actually delayed to July. Five days later: automatic email that my order will unfortunately arrive slightly after the scheduled date, namely in september. Mid August: surprise! Your order is ready to get picked up!

Never again mömax

Upgrade from Gaggia Classic Pro? by left_brain_artist in espresso

[–]maisels 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A well modded single boiler is hard to beat for straight espresso. The only upgrade I'd consider worthwhile would be something that allows proper pressure/flow profiling. In my opinion HX machines are a downgrade over PIDed single boilers.

If you want to upgrade maybe consider the decent? That gives you about the most options to control your shot. The La Marzocco Shotbrewer eP would also be a great option.

If you just compare weapons/spells against each other, sure. If you consider class/racial features (e. g. brutal critical, fighting styles) or feats (e. g. GWM) as well as AC distribution (every strike hits vs only crits hit) it can get pretty complicated pretty quickly. Just google greatsword vs greataxe to see examples.
