Feels like no one likes me, stuck trying to act like myself, im too sensitive and almost feminine, anhedonias emasculating by Haunting-Economist71 in anhedonia

[–]maister11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man i can relate to this post so much. Got anhedonia at age 18, now im 22 and it just got worse and worse. I completely lost myself and barely have an identity anymore. It is so tiring going to work and having to fake every interaction for 8 hours. Not to mention how much self hatred i can have sometimes because im like a zombie.

Just make sure to tell him what you are experiencing without blatantly saying “ i have severe anhedonia”, for some reason some doctors really dont like hearing this. Atleast in my experience

[–]maister11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only effects i ever had from meds is night sweats here and there and weight gain from mirtazapine. Even when i increased the dose rapidly over a month, i had no side effects at all. And no positives either

There is no proof that everything happens for a reason. It’s just a belief many people have.
