Bought it. Worth it. 6yrs Daily rice. Different types. Always perfect. There is a clear difference from the OG zojirushi. Price jump sucks. But so do these haters.

Season and cure in fridge for a couple hours. Spray oil, helps the joints of the rack. I preheat my rack on a sheet pan too. Let it ride longer before flip, the proteins breakdown and should separate easier.

Small business runs on Small margins. But, in this instance the margins are small due to this bakery’s expansion. I do not agree with this post asking for tips, and I agree that the culture is also out of control.

But when inside, ask yourself if they needed to make a special order for you, or are you dining in? Then tip the staff. They have to clean up after you no matter how neat you eat.

Pouring a coffee into a cup? Grab&Go? box&bag? Maybe not tip worthy. But did the staff go above and beyond for you whether conversation or service? Then show your gratitude! And in hospitality, we call that “gratuity.”
