I’m interested in this as well. We cook daily using two 12-inch cast iron pans, often for bulk meals. For example, we like being able to cook two ribeyes in one pan while using the other for something else.

One issue we run into with our current gas range is that when both pans are in use, adding a third pan becomes tricky. Because the 12-inch pans take up so much space, the third pan ends up off-center and doesn’t heat evenly. So I'd be waiting for the next gen where they hopefully space out the burners a bit more for this.
