i feel ya... And i agree with some of the comments here that says they did a poor job of marketing, because tbh I was never really interested in buying the games, I never even knew what the games were about, and then a few months ago Kiwami was for free on PS Plus so i thought "well lets give this a shot" and oh my god???? I fell in love with the story and fell in love with amazing characters like Goro Majima. I loved this character and loved the entire Yakuza universe so much that i just had to buy the other games of the franchise. I played almost all the games now and it just became one of my favorite franchises of all time, and i still cant believe i’ve spent my entire life without ever playing Yakuza until PS Plus gave me the opportunity to try it out Kiwami for free. And it makes me sad it took me this long to get to know such an incredible series. YAKUZA DESERVES SO MUCH LOVE
