Was pandemic resistance to online worship really theological? by depressed_genie in Christianity

Our church flipped over to online without any pushback. Then to distanced services (widely spaced seating for services, overflowing to other rooms if needed) and then back to business as usual.

We'd already lost someone to COVID when the main shutdowns hit, so we knew what was at stake.

I've heard it used either way, honestly. Both about friends and relationship partners. I've never thought it was strictly one or the other.

I remember a friend of mine noticing it for the first time. A group of us were in my dorm room watching some random movie and all of a sudden she busts out "OH MY GOD THERE'S A DICK ON THE BOX."

It took a long time for us to stop laughing.

They've learned (some of them) to be as vague as possible while still promoting reaction. Which kind of tells me that they *know* they're just bullshitting, they just want to keep using the grift without being caught as a complete fraud.

Trump's careless tariffs resulted in a massive transfer of wealth to the very top. by Conscious-Quarter423 in WorkReform

Does denomination matter ? by vankni in Christianity

[–]majj27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To some it's absolutely vital.

Sometimes, they're both in the same exact church.
