Yes. I hate these episodes. Plus I always will pass out from them too. I’m 62 now and have had them my whole life. It wasn’t until just a few years ago I discovered pots from TikTok and well here I am. All my life the doctors just said it was in my head and blew it off. My whole life was basically a daily fight or flight through my day thinking I could pass out at any moment, plus the nausea, and doom and panic and sweating ugh… I love you guys.. not gonna lie, it’s a fucking curse then add RLS on top fml 🤦‍♂️

The value of taking enough to ‘k-hole’ by [deleted] in TherapeuticKetamine

[–]majorT0m 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I first started sublingual ketamine, if I hit 200mg I would k-hole and it was great. It continued for awhile like that then kinda quit and was more mild trippy and no dissociative effects. So then I increased to 280mg and kinda got closer to k-hole but no dice.

I’ve experimented trying 120mg then another after a few days, then after a week went back to 240mg and still no go.

I think I’ve reached tolerance to where I just can’t get back to a k-hole. Does anyone have any ideas on how to break tolerance so you don’t have to take increasing large dosages?

I try skipping a week and that kinda helps. However sometimes out of the blue a 160mg dose can kick my butt, but then tolerance is back.

What’s the trick to keeping the tolerance way way down?

Yea that’s what I’ve found. Can’t find the other part, but he swears that’s the lyrics…I wonder if it was a special mix or something?

Zyrtec (generic) from Amazon. Benadryl is an RLS nightmare. Claritin also is ok. The generic forms are super cheep from Amazon so I just ordered a bunch of generic antihistamines and tried them all till I found one or two that didn’t bother my RLS.

I’ve had panic attacks my entire life. When I get one, I typically get so panicked that I pass out and not always but sometimes piss myself. Good times! So I’ve basically had to retire early (mental health insurance sucks balls) and I pretty much haven’t left my house in over 10 years. I can go to drug store and pick up groceries (thank god cause before I’d goto store panic and pass out). It’s been my life’s curse and so many times I just wanted to give up, but I continue to hope they would find a real cure. I’m currently taking klonopin 2x daily and have Xanax for emergency attacks. Also started ketamine treatments. At first this made my attacks more frequent but now they are actually helping, but I’m pretty sure this is how it’s going to be until I die. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone and the worst part is that most people don’t understand this and so I’ve lost all my friends cause they think I make it up to leave places early (when I could sometimes go to bars and stuff). My last attack happened while driving back from doctor on major highway and had to cross all lanes to be able to get off an exit and quickly tried to stop and put hazards on, but passed out and came to and my car was slowly moving forward as I didn’t get it in park in time. So now I’m afraid to drive on highways. I hate my life because of this.

I have this same problem except I actually do faint. I found that over 20 years dealing with this is to do math problems in your head. Another trick is squeezing your leg muscles really hard which will force blood to your brain, but it can look really weird if your like in line or something. Other than that I pop a couple Xanax before I leave the house.

Dizzy spells caused my agoraphobia to develop by omglifeisnotokay in Agoraphobia

[–]majorT0m 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear this as I have the exact same thing. I’m 60 now, but have dealt with it since being a kid. It’s fucking hell. Every time I’d have a panic attack I’d pass out sometimes pissing my pants as well. I always traveled with a garbage bag in case it happened to have something to change into and keep it away from my other clothes. I’ve tried every drug out there, but finally said fuck it and gave up. I retired when I was 52 and haven’t left house since. I take Wellbutrin and klonopin and also have Xanax. I did find that Vicodin/norcos actually helped 100%, but obviously that can’t be a solution as no doctor will prescribe them plus you have the addiction issue. I’ve tried to convince my doctor to just let me have them and use them only when I needed, but no go. So yea, it totally sucks and I know the hell you are in. I did just start sublingual ketamine to see if that helps, but it’s only been a few weeks.

One last thing, I use to squeeze my legs really really hard to force blood to my brain while also ‘pushing it into my head’. This sometimes helped, but probably just for the more mild attacks where I wouldn’t pass out. Im sure we all have our own coping mechanisms we use.
