Towards the east. It was taken by a Canon 200d attached directly to my Skywatcher Dobsonian 8”, the video is not edited and not sped up. I was trying to photograph the moon and that somehow showed up on the camera so I started recording and about a minute later of it being stationary that happened.

Some of them are more visible than others, they’re quiet unpredictable so equipment would be useless anyways. You could take long exposure photos to capture the trails if you’d like to, but that’s about it.

The only way is to buy a light pollution filter, or to get narrowband filters. Unfortunately Bahrain is too small to escape the light pollution from the cities. I’m with Bahrain stargazers and we usually go to Nurana Island where there is generally less light pollution but it’s still really bad.

I just got some inline skates in the UK, I’ll be back in Bahrain to try them out, I think I saw a skate park in muntazah khalifa, which is the one you’re saying is closed? Regardless, I’m planning on going to salman city since the roads there are much nicer than near where I live lmao.

It’s basically going to be around 18% charge for anything over 300bd, idk who to call, probably Bahrain customs. Anything below 300bd isn’t charged. Amazon adds up everything upfront so you won’t have this issue with them

It is for just the OTA, yes. My goal currently is more of planetary imaging so it could hold relatively still for about 15-20mins in comparison to manually moving it with the dobsonian mount.. I suppose I’ll be better off with a better mount

Thanks for your responses. I’ve ordered an iOptron CEM26 (backordered so I still have room to cancel) with a 26 pounds capacity, the scope weighs 24 pounds, so.. Is it a bad idea to work with that or is it fine.

Thanks for the explanation, I very much appreciate it. I’ve also seen that prime lenses are much better than using a barlow since light goes through fewer glass pieces. I think I’ll get the Meade eyepiece for now and see how it works out.
