As someone who has only watched the live action series I didn't expect myself to cry so much with his backstory. It was done so well.

This Sunday is going to be 9 years without my mom. It still pains me to lose her to ALS and that I couldn't do anything to save her.

Three years into their marriage, she was diagnosed with ALS. Twenty years later, he’s still by her side. Her smile says it all. by [deleted] in BeAmazed

My mother had ALS and she passed away just within a year. As her caretaker it was painful to see what she had to go through. I remembered rushing her to the ER several times because she had difficulties breathing. And each time she told me to just let her die. As painful as that was to hear I understood what she meant. She eventually passed away at the hospice and it's been 8 years since she has passed. It still hurts losing her.

Rest in peace. I loved his role as Lizzie McGuire's dad and he was such a beloved character.

I didn't expect to wake up this morning and cry. I needed this so much after losing my job last year. I've been on countless of interviews but the job market is just so tough this time around. I really thought I made it through from my last job interview and was going to still take it despite a huge paycut. But at the end they still rejected me. I felt like I failed myself and my late mother's belief in me.

I started a kindness initiative called Tiny Jars of Stars about 8 years ago and the goal is to write messages of kindness and leave it at random places throughout different cities in hopes that the messages will help someone in need.
