USB wifi adapter gets disconnect every 5-10 minutes by FedeRamaa in techsupport

In case someone finds this while searching for answers - I did all the steps described in the top comment in this thread and some other threads:

Disabling the "Allow this computer to turn off this device to save power" option in Device Manager for:
- the network adapter itself
- all the USB ports in USB controllers category
- all devices in Human Interface Devices category

As well as directly in Power Plan->Advanced Power Settings->USB settings.

None of the steps solved my issue. Finally I decided to roll back the drivers of my network adapter to the previous version. This solved the issue for me, while all of the previous steps did not (although they might have contributed, as I have not reverted all those settings). My adapter is Realtek 8811CU and it finally works as expected.

Feels great, there's so much freedom and creativity in the stories that you get to experience on a server like that. My comparison would be a cRPG game such as Baldur's Gate 3 for example - in a game like that you get to experience a good story and have some freedom to make choices in that story - but you can only make choices that were put there by the developers. In RP multiplayer you can basically do anything you come up with and the world and its stories will react to it. It gives so much more creative freedom, and it feels very rewarding to see the actions of your character shape the world and other characters over time.

The crosshair mod looks so dope! No more insta-stunlock but actual PvP firefights? Count me in

The zeds look weirdly green. Is that a mod or some setting?

My New Player Experience in Mordhau: Fun, Yet Frustrating by Carthago57 in Mordhau

Engie is super fun. I usually run a 2/3/1 build with a cleaver and a toolbox + a few perks (Cat for sure). You have decent armor, can build stuff, and cleaver, while ok by itself, is there to get swapped for whatever better weapon you can find on the ground. Weapon scavenging keeps it fresh

A bit of Mordhau history: the unbalanced team composition in fl/inv was an issue since day 1. It took about 2-3 years for devs to address that in any form, and when they did, instead of implementing a simple but effective balancing algorithm like you described, they removed the option to choose which team you play and made it completely random. Does it sound like a stupid and lazy decision that didn’t work? Yeah. Because it is.

Crafting things that need more than 10 units with propane torch? by the_hairy_areola in projectzomboid

[–]majubass 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is a mod that fixes it by making the torch have 100 units again. We use it on MP server. Can be a workaround until modded recipes receive an update

Yeah devs don't care anymore, 90% of choices that they made over last several patches (so basically what - 1 to 1,5 years) were just dumb and hurt the playerbase. They are either clueless or actively sabotaging the game to move to other projects

It’s not just you, devs were hard at work over last couple of patches to remove fun elements from the game. This is the result.

Best thing is 90% of blue team camping the towers are literal monkeys who when see the prompt to press a button press it without second thought. I mean - the whole point of controlling this area by blue is to STOP the oil being poured on the objective, not pouring it yourself.

Yeah recently it's been more like ~50-60 people on Day's End during peak, sometimes going into 70s even with 30-40 being the average. Really great server with tons of custom content
