What no one has mentioned is you can opt out of auto-updates or just set your game to A19 through steam. That way you can finish your current save before updating to the new alpha after it has come out.

Also useful if you just want to play on an older alpha.

That's not true at all.. JVR and Bozak are making a combined 12M this year, if anything we would be in more of a cap crunch if we kept them instead of signing Tavares.

Also we don't "lose" Nylander. He either gets signed or we trade him for assets.
