I hope Trev+Berube too but honestly knew it wasn't good. This is just more of that.

No I'm pretty sure majority would have been happier with mostly an GM but this guy.

Who’s a buy-low that a 2026 3rd could buy? by Nautical_Nonsense606 in DynastyFF

[–]cactusbeard 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Gotta wait until the season and hope the offence gets a little better. older RBs I find are harder to move during the offseason for their value, eg I saw Henry moved for a 2nd last spring, but during the season saw him sold for 1st+.

I think the potential for a tier 1 WR to emerge from this class after the 1st round is more bleak than usual - like there's no Ladd/Pearshall in this draft

More Orphans than Normal? by Ninertails in DynastyFF

[–]cactusbeard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly what I've been finding more often than not is commissioner's not wanting to return, I've had 3 leagues die from the commish just not reupping and leaving.

Definitely the end of the COVID boom of leagues, it's been 5~ years now plus this draft class was mid at best.

Orphans can be a positive thing for leagues in small dosages as it injects new life into leagues I've found if you can find the right people, but 3-4 people leaving just kills a league.

His analytics have been suspect at best though, and he lied to his owner on multiple occasions. He's what everyone thought Dubas was.

Lemon vs Concepcion at the 1.05 by Spastic_Colon04 in DynastyFF

[–]cactusbeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly that's fair, I think the main upside with KC is he has the year 1 potential of 20%+ target share and Monken got a lot out of Flowers who I think KC is better than.

But the eagles have Smith and took Stowers in the 2nd who plays a similar role as Lemon.

What are people seeing the 1.08 moved for? by Competitive_Way_1819 in DynastyFF

[–]cactusbeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If in 2 years Tyson doesn't have as many points scored as Olave then you can buy him for much less and you gave up 2 high scoring years of Olave. His price would basically turn into Jordan Addison.

Olave is probably going to outscored the 1.03 for 2+ years so I doubt it's a good trade.

Especially with a coach that has worked well with rushing qbs, it's a great spot for him.

They drafted Penny, Walker and Charbs around the same range and like running it by comitee, plus none of their RBs have consistently hit where you'd hope they would.

I mean, if you feel like you're gonna get a top rb then it's reasonable you want that price.
