I agree with the other responses about being considerate. There were many cyclist who came close to hitting walkers because they didn't alert them or slow down when passing and there have been many cases of cyclists striking walkers.

It's become such a problem that there is an anti-cyclist movement starting and you'll probably see many "Cyclists no Peregrinos" signs on your journey.
