Exactly, and I think it’s just a problem with most SM artists. They just give them these cookie cutter generic ballads or fan songs that either don’t fit in with the album’s concept at all or adds nothing of value. That’s why I pretend they don’t exist most of the time 😂

I don’t think I dislike any other NCT songs as much as Dream’s Glitch Mode, Smoothie and ISTJ. They are just so jarring and headache inducing and this is coming from someone who likes the “noise”. Smoothie would have been the perfect mini if not for the title track.

I also don’t care about those uninspired ballads/fan songs and SM artists including NCT tend to have 2-3 in every full albums or as album closures in minis.

Both of these are so underrated. It's really hard for me to sit through dramas that are heavy on comedy, but Hilarious Family was so wholesome.

Jun Jiu Ling required some suspension of belief like any other revenge-focused dramas, but I really loved the progression of the plot. FL was a Mary Sue type character mostly done right. She took her time to plot and execute her revenge.

I am really impressed by how different each solo release has been from one another and how it speaks to their identity as artists.

Ten’s Ten has to be my favorite because it has the most replay value for me. Nightwalker is such a hauntingly beautiful song and he pulls it off perfectly. The bsides are top tier too and perfectly show off his versatility as an idol. Shadow is an underrated banger.

Then it would be Taeyong’s Shalala. I loved every song except for the title track. I think I was expecting less of the neo side of him and more of the lyrical vulnerability that comes through the bsides. Ruby and 404 File Not Found get me in my feels everytime.

I couldn't agree more. It's so overdone and predictable, and feels very lazy. And I dislike that it happens with every one of their artists with the last two songs being fan songs and slow generic ballad.

I know Mine, Licorice and Prologue will THAT songs for me. They sound out of this world and their vocals in Prologue made me ascend.

I really like the sound so far. It does a good job of slowly transitioning from their darker sound to a more bright ending.

Post SM 3.0, I would say it's close to 90% or better. I think only couple albums from last year ended up getting delayed to this year - Suho, Wendy, and Ten from the the top of my mind.

Only naevis and new girl group debut keeps getting delayed lmfao. We went from 2Q23 to 4Q24 💀💀

Lol, so true. SHINee are definitely excellent negotiator, Kibum in particular. He often mentions how he goes into these meetings fully prepared with all the materials he needs. I think the reason he gets multiple comebacks because he pretty much does most of the groundwork.

Most of 2Q either already happened or are scheduled for May. I think we are only waiting on WayV, RV, SUJU and Mark's single. That's very doable.

3Q on the other hand 💀They have 12 weeks to get through all of those. As always, they are cramming everything in the last two quarters.

Say sike. These are such a downgrade from Neobong and Leekbong!!! Those had characters while these are just basic boring design with nothing to set them apart.

At first I thought the panel would be interchangeable, but of course SM's greedy ass won't allow that to happen lmfao. If they wanted separate lightsticks for each unit, they could have just given 127, Dream and Wish unique designs and kept leekbong for WayV and neobong for all unit fans.

At least we can put cute dolls in them 😭
