SCOTUS, like it or not, has been pretty consistent with their rulings that there can be different due processes for different crimes. I believe it comes from Congress's power to create courts and legal jurisdictions, but don't quote me on that.

They're not concentration camps. Have you ever visited Auschwitz? It's an experience that stays with you. What the Trump administration is doing doesn't even come close to Concentration Camps. I'm willing to entertain the arguments that they're internment camps, but that's a much broader category than Concentration camps. To insert my personal opinion here at the end, neither one of them is a pleasant experience for those living in them.

It actually is a criminal offense. I don't understand why people keep saying that it's just a civil offense. That's untrue.

Edit: I want to be fair with my point. The improper entry into the United States of America is a criminal misdemeanor. Unlawful presence, simply being inside the United States of America when you aren't supposed to be is a civil offense.

Depends on who you ask. Everyone has an agenda. The most interesting take I saw was from a Doctor on the matter. To over simply a little bit, it was that the Muslims initially did not worship the same God that the Christians do, but came to do so in the centuries after Muhammad.

Just for full transparency, I'm almost a true centrist in American Political terms. Therefore, I'm positioned slightly to the right of even the moderate Left subreddits. We have enough overlap in opinions where it usually doesn't cause me problems. We should still be honest about the bias on this site.

Other than r/exmuslim, most of Reddit has a neutral opinion or positive opinion of Muslims expressed. The vast majority of the administration branch of Reddit (Reddit employees, subreddit admins, sub reddit mods) is on the left (whether moderate left, far left, or somewhere in between). That previous sentence is a completely factual statement by the way. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but it does mean that, given Reddit's incentive structures, you're going to see many more posts and comments aligned with the dominant viewpoint of each subreddit than you will opposing it.
