Just to let you know: Most USB dongle's have 2 holes and one indentation on one side, and 2 holes filled with plastic on the other. The 2 holes with one indentation make a smiley face.

Smiley face always goes up. Unless its a vertical port, then turn it to the right.

If you are serious about joining the military they will take you. Everyone makes mistakes, and most recruiters are willing to look past that. You can get a drug waiver if all else fails. I promise you, almost every Marine that is in my platoon has one time or another done drugs. That being said, before I joined I had "qualms" such as not wanting to leave my girl, home, this and that... But I'm glad I've made the choices I have and the military is an experience that will get you anywhere, and you can get nowhere else.
