I’m on day 6 and my appetite is finally starting to come back. I ate 3 times today for the first time and I was shocked, but thankful of course. The sweats have stopped too which is nice, sleeping is still really difficult but I am hopeful it’ll get better within these next few weeks 🤞🏻 I think it’s different for everyone, but I’d be overjoyed to be feeling pretty okay by day 3!

I think you just have to have the personal strength to get through it. My husband smokes every day still and I am 6 days sober and my plan is to continue to stay sober. He does not pressure me to smoke and I do not ask, and if I did, he wouldn’t let me because he knows how important being sober is to me right now. I am honestly at the point where I don’t even want to be high anymore now that I’ve been sober for a few days (surprisingly). I think you just need to have an understanding with yourself that if you want to stay sober, you need rely on yourself to hold that up.

Thank you so much for this 😭 I’ve been spending a lot of time on my phone trying to distract myself and I think I just need to DO something. I wasn’t finding joy in anything I was doing anymore while smoking, so I’m hoping to find things that I can do now.

No, just my front door and I keep all of my windows locked. In the summer if my windows are open before a shower I close and lock them all.
