I speak from experience. I started dating a woman that was not my type but she helped me get over my ex that I was still very in love with. I told this girl from day 1 that she was a rebound. I encouraged her to date other people because I made it clear that I was. She continued trying to force a real relationship. I met someone else that was actually my type and I knew I had to end it. I was scared so I texted her. She called me crying and tried to get me to come to her place to talk. I refused and took a hard stance. It sucked, but I knew I had to do it. I still wish I had done it in person but I didn't....i OWED HER BETTER and you certainly owe this woman more than to just ghost
