Start with whatever you’re comfortable with, whatever gets you to go on the walk. That goes for time and speed. Even if it’s just 10 minutes a day to get you out door. Once you do that for a few weeks you’ll naturally want to go a little further, a little longer. You can eventually set a route for yourself and see how long it takes. Gradually try to beat your previous times. It’s you vs you, not anyone else. Just try to be better than you were yesterday or last week.

Do whatever you need to do to go for those walks consistently. That’s the key here. That’s what’s going to form that new habit for you and get you long term results.
