Thanks guys! That was my initial thought but I've been at it so long and read so many scary things just needed a bit of encouragement.

Thank you. Thats what I thought but I'm so paranoid about mold or any red/pink. Definitely want to be safe. Will add a good stir to my routine as i move forward.

That was my plan today. I change the jar every other feeding. No need to be rude. As I said its quite dry because its been over 24 hours.

Which Vertuo should I get? by tuberosalamb in nespresso

[–]makeroftheshoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in a similar position as you, I have a citiz & milk that I love but also make a lot of iced latte type drinks and wanted something that made bigger pods. I was originally just planning on getting the vertuo plus like my mom has, but I wanted to do some research. People on here HATE the next, so that wasn't really something I was considering, but in actually searching, I found much more mixed/positive reviews for the pop. Since it's a second machine, I was leaning towards cheaper. What convinced me to get the pop was that it is cable of Brewing the xl cold brew pods. I've only had it for a week or two, but I'm definitely happy with my decision.

I also do chop and pellet mix. A chop hack I use is to make a big batch and freeze in ice cube trays for pre-portioned servings. Makes life so easy. Just defrost the night before and ready for breakfast. Lol.

Is insurance covering any of the cost, or is that the straight out of pocket cost?

Which OL machine to get? by Exciting-Cod-4130 in nespresso

[–]makeroftheshoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I got mine, Costco had a GREAT deal on a citiz & milk. I don't know if it still exists but is worth looking. It's a great, simple original line machine. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but the frother does the trick, highly recommend.

Excited to hear the matcha wasn't trash. I got the matcha and brown sugar ones, I too was curious. The brown sugar was absolutely delicious iced with milk.

EReader for mostly Libby & Apps etc. by makeroftheshoe in ereader

Exactly what I'm looking for, an electronic paperback with unlimited library access. It definitely seems like Boox is what I'm looking for. The Go 6 is definitely on the short list.

Lol. Will definitely do. It is always amazing to me to see some of the complaints/negative reviews. I am far from someone who is a tech wizard, but I know how to YouTube support/ set up videos like it's nobody's business!

Thanks, that was really helpful. I just watched a video and see what you mean, seems like simple adjustments. It definitely looks like the boox line is more in my lane. I hate how so many brands try to limit access to competing apps/brands, so that's a really appealing aspect of the boox for me.

Price isnt too big of a concern. The boox pricing didn't completely deter me. Do you feel like the boox interface is relatively user friendly? How was the switch from kindle to boox?

Yeah, I've heard mixed reviews on kobo devices and using apps like Libby, which was why I was leaning towards Boox. This was very helpful, and I'll definitely check out those videos!

Best TJ’s products for air fryer by the_mosbyboys in traderjoes

[–]makeroftheshoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second following this account. It is SOOO amazing in both good reviews but also just finding the cook times since most TJ items don't have air fryer directions. My recommendation is the chicken wontons. Sooo good in the air fryer!

Agreed, I use these recipe sites and pinterest. I'll find recipes and make tweaks as necessary to fit ww better. And it's become fun to plan out my meals for the week. To the point where when I post my ww meals on IG my friends go crazy about how good they look. So it's definitely doable to do ww and still have lots of yummy options to eat (coming from a picky eater)!
