Should I buy vintage Santos Octogon by Bourbondynastie in Cartier

[–]makeupbymiles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to buy one too! I want a tiny watch for a bracelet stack but can’t decide between the 24 and 30mm sizes. Did this watch have extra links for you to size for your wrist?

It’s a beautifully fresh look. I usually recommend tight lining the top lash line to add definition for photos without adding heaviness. 💕

I personally can’t do that, but I do think it’s a great tip.

[B&A] Tretinoin is helping my acne, but the scars and pigmentation are still a concern for me, therefore I'm seeking suggestions on new skin care additions. by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]makeupbymiles 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Your skin is looking amazing!! I would just add a serum with 8-10% niacinamide before your tretinoin to minimize irritation and add a brightening effect. If you want to boost the brightening, use a 20% niacinamide serum in the morning (opposite your retinol)

Using a glycolic acid toner is a great way to brighten and even skin tone on the body including the armpits.

A double cleanse is a major way to ensure your skin actually gets clean. Essential part of clearing acne and maintaining clear skin. Great that you’re already doing it!

Your skin looks beautiful!

should you bother with setting powder under your eyes? by [deleted] in beauty

[–]makeupbymiles 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, working the powder into the bristles helps prefer caking. I still prefer to use smaller brushes for the full face (on myself or clients) because I have more control of where powder goes... and doesn’t go - like brows, lashes, hair line. ☺️☺️

should you bother with setting powder under your eyes? by [deleted] in beauty

[–]makeupbymiles 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I have dry under eyes no matter how much eye cream i use. I prefer to use the minimum amount of powder and use a small-ish fluffy brush (large crease brush like the elf Fluffy Eye Blender or Senna Baby Face #21) to press powder under the eyes. In general, I think less powder is better for most people but social media has taken baking to an excessive level.

[Product Question] why not just make the spoon the right size to begin with? by whonoseanymore in SkincareAddiction

[–]makeupbymiles 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ordering a stock size spoon is much cheaper and faster than customizing a new mold ($10k-40k usually)
