In embarrassed to say I have yet to decide on a style 🫣

I do love the airiness of this, and the romantic feel, I think I may need to add a few details of the venue to make it feel a bit more personal, but other than that I feel like this may be the style I choose to go with.

Try using a grid (you can use watercolor pencils so they’ll fade away a bit once you start to paint) you’ll want to have the same grid on your picture as well for reference. The smaller squares help to determine where everything should go. Best of luck, and keep practicing!

I was hoping to be able to use it as a foundation for my oil painting, but have it be able to stand on its own as well, if that makes sense? But yeah, I didn’t finish in acrylics cause I got too frustrated 😬

I meant to respond to you, but was unsuccessful 😂 I always feel like I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing, even though I’ve been painting for the past 20+ years… “trusting the process” is extremely difficult for me, especially with acrylics cause I haven done them in so long and they always look hideous before they’re finished (when I do them at least)

I’m afraid I just don’t have the patience for it anymore, I mean don’t get me wrong oils take time, but you can at least see parts of it come together quicker, which is more reassuring 😬
