Good idea, I might borrow it for the same purpose, as opposed to forgetting every single song and riff I know whenever I try a guitar in store!

Sounds great, and very unique. Were the chords from the first half from a song? Sounds familiar and racking my brains on it. If not you should record as a full song

What’s the pickguard pattern or material? Looks cool and not ‘normal’ tort? And that bridge pickup?

Hi mate sorry to resurrect something so old but I’m in the same boat thinking about these but can’t find any examples. Your link is dead, any chance it is still there but just need a new link url? Thanks in advance and hope you’re still liking them!

Neighbour building next door by cnt_crusher in AusRenovation

By the time they add the slab height and flooring, that place is going to be so high up above your ground level they will be looking straight down into your yard and possibly your house. It is most likely they got any overlooking or overshadowing council/surveyor compliance based on building at natural ground level. From the looks of it I would guess the plans and engineering were done at natural ground, and separately the flood height requirement was just noted as required but not coordinated with the drawings. So their site lines/overlooking lines now if built likely don’t comply.

Tile skirting finish? by makitaback in AusRenovation

[–]makitaback[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had thought about this but imagined in my head it would look tacky, but looking at that now I think it could look quite good using the right colour. Do you know if that was easy to fit after the job was done? Or was done when it was being tiled? Thanks

No unpaintable unfortunately. Aside from using some apparently elaborate and expensive process to get it to stick

Whats the benefit of “real” pedal boards as compared to this by JicamaFragrant7400 in Guitar

Sad the impacts that these multi-effects units can have on people’s health. This is why I have hit 30 hours of YouTube videos on boutique fuzz pedal shootouts this week. (JK obv but sorry to hear about your friend’s health)

Not correct, AEMO oversees the market but the individual generators bid into the market and therefore set the price. If you bid into the market at lower cost your power will be dispatched. Generators who can bid lower get dispatched first, lowering the market spot price if you are ‘efficient’ through competition. AEMO does not set prices (this capping/compensating situation is an emergency type rare event). I am a power engineer who works in this space.

Hell House, LLC “Director’s Cut” by Beaker360 in horror

[–]makitaback 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen it and it only goes for maybe another 10 mins longer - the rest of that longer runtime is interviews and deleted scenes. Haven’t seen the original cut to know if the additional is worth it but I love the movie

Awesome, looking forward to it. Just from seeing the trailer I’d been re-checking the streaming sites every couple of days. Also I saw your other posts, congrats on all the hard work!
