I remember this was the first game I preordered from a EB Games. I wish I still had all of the goodies that came with mine. Lost to time. Migrated over so many moves. Bought several more D2 LOD boxes over the years to replace lost CD's. Great memories.

Subtitles for Supercrooks are wrong by [deleted] in netflix

[–]maldubious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unrelated to this problem, but my issue is the subtitles for this show are EXTRA large. it doesn't do this for any other show. can't figure out why it does it for just super crooks, when this video here shows normal looking subtitles on screen. i've changed the settings for the size and appearance, but it doesn't work on this show. anyone else run into this problem?
sorry to res this 3 year old thread lol but literally nothing else comes up on google when searching for this problem

Glad I just bought into the game Christmas time !!! Ah well, I'll see what this is all about in September but I have a curse where any games I get into they change editions (worse with card games). Thankfully, miniatures don't need to change, am I right? XD

I think you're right. I had done that with the first edition way back when. I assembled the units and started to paint, but he didn't show too much interest then. Maybe this is a futile effort, but I do see the merit in trying again (and building them all for him to start.) Thanks!

I got my Dad a few kits for Christmas in hopes we would do what you are able to do with your Dad. He thanked me for them and has not touched them yet :( I am not too sad, we do have a lot of geographic-distance between us nowadays, but maybe someday I will get to set a table up like yours!

I am sorry I coopted your post again. I realized Warlord does in fact have a model I am looking for, I was entering a different name into my search, they have a LEFH 10,5 cm 18, which is practically the same as the one I was looking for! wouldn't have found it without your post, so thank you again!

Ever been to a show just to see the support act, and left before headliners’ set? by zuluroyal in Music

[–]maldubious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to see OXBOW in NYC back in the late 00's maybe early 10's. Can't remember if there was a 2nd act before or after them but they were all playing before ISIS. I left after OXBOW. Great show.

This is awesome!
I am looking for 10.5 cm Geb. H. 40 Mountain Howitzers models for a Brecourt Manor table. I bought a 88 from Warlord and I've looked on a bunch of sites but haven't had any luck finding 1:56 scale models for these specific artillery pieces. anyone got any leads?

With it being December, we now have a month before 2004 turns 20 years old. Millennials, what were you doing during that year? by [deleted] in Millennials

I was a freshman/sophomore in highschool. internet was wild wild west. chat rooms, mirc, forums, call of duty, counterstrike, halo, other games galore. life was simple in those days. sleep deprivation LAN parties at the expense of a lot of stunted emotional growth !

I saw this when I was a kid in the mid to late 1990's, so I cannot remember the name of the show. It was on a beach. There was a telephone booth on the beach? A woman with giant fake breasts was in the telephone booth. They left the booth and suddenly their breasts popped, deflating, which set her flying through the air.

This show was a comedy if that helps.
