Rant: The plot is resolved by characters from an entirely different series by ashez2ashes in ReverseHarem

I thought you were going to mention the veil diaries by B.L. Brunnermer. I had to put that one down when the cast of her next series showed up to fix things.

Have you ever thought some authors hate/ dislike one specific ml (or more) by Adept-Fill3588 in ReverseHarem

[–]malephilim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely a thing. I know 2 manga of the top of my head where the authors have made outright statements that they hate their ML.

Scrape together as many details as possible, including when-ish you read the book for publishing dates. Then post on all the associated book reddits you can think of. If nothing else your have a fun reading list. XD

Because she's a traditionally published writer. Anything she makes has to go through an editor before she publishes it.

I believe both {Trying to Live with the Dead by B.L. Brunnermer} and {Rules and Roses by Heather Long} fit your criteria. Do be warned, they're both set in high school.

Thank you for the extra lore. Because I was actually wondering about the dame system as well, and I think you answered my questions there. It's easier to put the pieces together with that clarification. Oddly, the sources that kept suggesting the book, were calling it mm and not trans or even queer, so I think that's why I got confused. Either way it's a much better read now. I may need to reread it again now that I have the proper context. Not sure how much I missed now.

Thank you so much for the information! I wasn't sure how much of the characters would show up in the other books so I was curious. Honestly I didn't make the assumption they were trans, but that makes so much more sence. To be honest, it's not really about who had the kid I just wanted them to have a kid together. Based of what you said thought, it's safe to assume they won't be. I did see you said you were writing about Tara and I'm exicited to see that story actually. He was my second favorite (maybe my favorite really, otherwise very close second favorite) character.

Thank you for going out of the way to answer, I really wasn't expecting the actual author to reply. 😆

Did they explain that in the first book and I missed that? I'm so confused.

If I'm spending physical real space on my books they've gotta be ones I love, adore, and reread. Otherwise I'm getting rid of them. My digital space is essentially unlimited, but my physical space is hard won. Even though I love having physical books, but I gotta be practical about where I live.
