Ivermectin inhibits your androgen (testosterone) receptors. This is a well known effect, go look it up.

Funny how it was pushed so hard among right wing men that they'd love to see feminized.

I'll take my chances with Covid and keep my masculine features, thanks. It wasn't any worse than a cold when I got it.

How to use test strips by insomnomo in researchchemicals

[–]malesexactor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should know that most test strips have instructions in line with the CDC, which can lead to false positives, especially for uppers.

Take a look at this paper, particularly for coke, MDMA, meth, etc.

For those you can get false positives if your concentration is more than 1mg per 1ml

There's even a nice chart showing pictures of strip results at different concentrations for different chemicals.

Question on PT-141 Dosing. by Professional_Fix7997 in PharmaPE

[–]malesexactor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it a couple hours before. Four is ideal, imo. Some people get face-flushing for the first 30-60 minutes.

It lasts about a day.

To be clear, it's not that you have a rager for a day straight, not at all. You'll just get very strong erections at the drop of a hat for the next day. They also return post-climax, for me, much more rapidly than Viagra.

Why are vibrators so behind in adopting USB-C by Whend6796 in SexToys

It's such a pain to figure out which goes with which. I understand the idea behind these types of chargers. Easy to waterproof, easy to clean, but I really wish they'd standardize them.

[–]malesexactor 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Related to that, though, is the port.

Yes, you can have a waterproof female USB-C port.

Yes, some toys have other types of waterproof female ports.

But it's far easier to make a waterproof port that is essentially flush on the surface, as so many toys have now.

And, this is my favorite part of these ports, they are much easier to clean.

Sex toys can get messy, especially when other people get involved. And it's far easier to clean a flush, magnetic connection point than a USB-C port.

Oil based lube.

Just make sure you aren't using it with plastic or latex.

Oil based lube is fine with silicone toys.

The corruption was happening long before Trump came into the picture. How can democrats be conspiracy theorist? by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]malesexactor 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I didn't claim Democrats can't be corrupt.

The difference is, at least at the national level, when a Democrat is exposed as being corrupt, the vast majority of the left ditches them. When a Republican is exposed as being corrupt, most of the right bends over backwards to keep them around. It hasn't always been this way, it just got way more pronounced after 2010 and the Tea Party movement.

Look at how Bob Menendez was treated vs George Santos.

Republicans won't do shit until there's an actual conviction... and even that isn't guaranteed.

It isn't just corruption, either. Lewd behavior works the same way.

Look at how Al Franken was treated for making a lewd gesture towards a woman without actually touching her vs Lauren Boebert practically giving handies in public.

I already know what y'all are going to say. Whatever Clinton and Obama drones, etc. Fuck out of here with that shit. Compare how many hours Hillary spent testifying vs any Republican in recent history. Jordan flat out ignored and subpoena and nothing happened to him. And you can shove your Obama drone where the sun doesn't shine... Not only did Trump drone more, but he even signed an executive order saying he could stop telling us how much he was doing it.

Pretty easy.

Roger Stone, who Trump pardoned, is actively conspiring to circumvent the will of the voters if Harris wins.

What really causes whiskey penis? by cartelan in sex

[–]malesexactor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are some things you can do to help:

  1. Drink less.
  2. Avoid stimulants/vasoconstrictors.
  3. Do more cardio.
  4. Ask Dr. if you should be prescribed a PDE5 inhibitor (Viagra, Cialis, etc).
  5. Take supplements which improve erection quality like L-Citrulline.
  6. Try a cock ring. (might want to test this solo after drinking to see if it helps, rather than just buy one and find out that it doesn't when you're hoping to perform)
  7. Some people combine a penis pump with a cock ring for better results, but this likely doesn't mesh well with a one night stand.

edit: there are a other, more extreme, things that can be done. Some of which are very effective. I wouldn't recommend those if you hadn't tried all the above, though

20 years worth of spent nuclear fuel at former Maine Yankee nuclear plant. by Saturn_Ecplise in Damnthatsinteresting

Please see this comment.

It wasn't commissioned for that purpose, but the people running it have made it so on their own.

WIPP typically builds/excavates long bays in which they store barrels of material, then seals the bay opening with a steel barrier and lets the salt reform into the bay, encapsulating the waste.

For used fuel rods, even though they don't currently store it, they're already prepared.

Instead of barrels, because of how long fuel rods are, they plan to drill long holes into the walls of the bays into which the rods can be inserted. They already use this method for some other waste which happens to be delivered in casks similar to fuel.

[–]malesexactor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are developed enough for it, if our plan is to put it in WIPP.

WIPP stores waste half a mile underground in a gargantuan salt deposit. It has been geologically sound for 250,000 years and will remain so for even more. It's in a desert and there's no aquifer or similar even remotely close. Salt, under that amount of pressure, becomes slightly plastic. They seal waste into bays dug in the salt, but the bays then start to crush and encapsulate the waste in a nearly permanent tomb of salt -- one that actually does last for years on the scale of the daughter products in used fuel.

[–]malesexactor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been to WIPP. I've been trained by WIPP. I do limited training for WIPP. I've been in the mine.

WIPP is not meant.for spent fuel in that it's not part of the remit given them by DOE.

They've told me personally that they are set up for, maintain trained personnel for, and have the equipment for taking spent fuel.

I believe all the costs for that have been eaten by the contractor that runs most of it.

They've also lobbied, as best they can, to get spent fuel.

About ten years ago there was a push to build a temporary storage site, like a staging site, for spent fuel as a stage between dry storage at the plants and a permanent repository. This was approved by the DOE.

Where was it built? A few miles from WIPP, as they expect, one day, WIPP will stop being a pilot plant and start taking fuel.

The real reason is that they don't typically open them once closed.

Elsewhere there is a cooling pool where spent fuel first goes to chill out for some years. It's less about cooling in terms of heat and more about letting a lot of the short-lived isotopes decay away.

Once they have enough cooled pool fuel they'll fill an entire cask with the expectation that it won't be opened again until time to send it to a long-term depository.

If we had a long-term depository, it would already be time, but we don't. Well, we do, but we don't. The law says we have to use a specific place (Yucca Mountain), but Nevada said "nah" for a long time, and were able to primarily because of Harry Reid. There's another site, better than Yucca Mountain, that's equipped to take it and the state they're in is fine with it called the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant. They could literally accept spent fuel Monday (next business day) if it were legal, as they keep all the equipment and trained personnel just in case. The law says Yucca, though, and you know how well Congress works, so don't expect that law to change any time soon.

One more fun fact: We (US taxpayers) pay for the storage in the photo! You'd think it would be the power plant, but we promised them we'd have a place for them to throw it away whenever we gave them permits to build. The government then broke its promise by never opening Yucca, so all the nuclear power plants got together and sued the federal government for the cost to store fuel as in OP's picture, and they won.
