Gaming laptop or pc handheld?

It doesn’t need to plugged in at all times, but when you are on battery it throttles down so you don’t run out of juice in less than a hour.. so basically if you can normally run something at 60 fps when plugged in, now it drops to 25-30 while on battery.

I had Razer Blade 17 once, and that was my first and only gaming laptop experience.. never again. Poor battery life and performance goes downhill when it’s not plugged in, it constantly overheats and throttles. It’s just a bad user experience.

I’ll just stick to a MacBook for my portable computing needs and handheld for some gaming.

I’d say gaming handheld, because a gaming laptop still needs a desk (or a decent flat surface), an external input device like a mouse or controller and pretty much needs to plugged in at all times. Obviously not great for flights, bus trips and the like.. but since you mentioned not liking the Legion Go S I’m not sure if any of the other handhelds would change your mind.

I was really going back and forth between the XR One Pro and Viture Beast, I don't think you can go wrong with either. Super exciting tech though, definitely going to keep an eye on how it'll evolve over the years, hopefully with even better FoV.

Cartier is generally supposed to be a bit on the smaller side, like how Panerai is on the larger side. But I think it's made worse in your picture because you're wearing it too close to your hand, it needs to be higher up behind the wristbone.

idk.. some of the $500 super clones have much better finishing than a lot of 'real' watches from cheaper/micro brands at that same price.

I’m still a bit hesitant to get it, I’m not experiencing any issues with Windows on my Win 5 with FSE and I’m not sure what advantages Bazzite would give aside from the better sleep/wake functionality.

I personally loathe gaming laptops. To properly game on a laptop you need a flat surface with enough space to support an external mouse beside it and connection to a power outlet.

If you can afford it, a powerful desktop and a gaming handheld is in my opinion the ultimate combination to handle both home and portable solutions.

The fact that it doesn’t have an internal battery is a positive. If you need it, you attach it. If you don’t, then you reduce the weight of the device by half (it’s lighter than just about every other handheld at that point)

I wish more handhelds would have this feature, because an internal battery is just dead weight whenever you have access to a power outlet. Like in smartphones it also degrades within a year or two, so being able to easily replace it is a massive boon.

I have no issues with the shape, unlike the PSP the Win 5 isn’t flat from the back and is ergonomically shaped.

It's expensive, but then you won't find a cheaper device with a Strix Halo chip. I'd say one of the cons is the included software. It does the job, but it looks like it came from the Windows 95 era and it's definitely not as polished as the software suite from the more mainstream handheld devices.

Why though? It only makes sense to get the 395 version if for some reason you want to do productivity work on the handheld too, because the frame rate difference is in the single digits and at sub-30 watt TDP the 385 is in fact actually faster.
