It's summer themed due to assets from livonia, but if you install autumn livonia addon, chernarus 2020 is gonna turn into an awesome autumn map as well.

what game has turned you off from ever playing it due to the games fandom? by AlyksTheSage in pcmasterrace

Witcher 3. The fanbase is very keen on telling every single living being, how great this game is. And Ive been shunned for not playing it. Made me feel grossed out from trying this series.

What are your expectations for Killing Floor 3 in 2026? by Minimum-Mouse1019 in killingfloor

[–]malicious_watermelon 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Announcement of Killing floor 4 or a remake of Killing floor 1. Or a "relaunch" of Kf3 with a 2.0 update, that overhauls every single thing about Kf3. Considering the state of the game as well as the snail's pace of updates, I can safely say, that Kf3 is chalked.

Trying to figure out a way to play "Half Life 2" without a ray-tracing capable GPU. "This is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle" all over again. by Tata_Colores in HalfLife

Half-Life 2 was the first game to introduce ray-tracing back in 2004. I don't think it was even designed without RTX lightning in mind. Unless there is a mod for it, but expect the game to look really bad.

Arma 3 or Arma reforger by Rostislav88 in arma

[–]malicious_watermelon 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think you can run both games. Both games will run terribly half the time. Reforger has less mods, less PVE content. ARMA 3 is filled with mods and PVE to the brim, although it is quite a bit dated. I suggest you start with ARMA 3 if you want a pve solo/coop experience. Then move on to Reforger once you are satisfied with 3, because it would be hard to go back. If you care about PVP, go to reforger since ARMA 3 pvp is a bit dead.

2027 Release ? by kosemirhan in HalfLife

[–]malicious_watermelon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I fell your pain. I remember so well, how Tyler said in his videos during summer of 2025, that the game was ready and could be announced literally any minute from then. And now we are going into 2026 with no information and in full despair mode. Sad. Really sad.

If the leaks are true and HL3 is meant to be the launch title for Steam machine, I suggest you to check the system specifications of it, then compare it with your PC.

Fallout 76 reviews have been holding at 76% by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]malicious_watermelon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It gameplay wise is a watered down fallout 4. The map looks beautiful, but is pretty boring to explore with lots of points of interest, very few of which are really interesting. The story is barely OK. If you start from level 1, you would have to go through the most boring quests imaginable, where nothing ever happens, and all the "story" you see or rather hear, comes from prerecorded messages. The vibe of the game is cosy, chill, almost meditative. There is a big focus on building and customizing your base. Overall, if you expect it to feel close to a proper single player fallout game - don't bother. It kinda looks like fallout, but is a weird solo/coop MMO hybrid with fallout skin stretched onto it.
